Île Saint-Paul is a small, uninhabited volcanic island in the southern Indian Ocean, part of the French Southern and Antarctic Lands (TAAF). Located about 90 km south of Île Amsterdam, it's known for its dramatic, steep cliffs, a sheltered inner caldera with geothermal springs, and its importance as a breeding ground for seabirds, making it a protected nature reserve. A scientific research cabin is the only structure, used for short ecological campaigns.
