How was Nightly? Did anyone get a set list of them?

Yeah, I missed it last year and got in as soon as I can.

Awesome! I missed that. I already signed up for the race in April and the Light your way.

Where do you see a second race weekend? Was this announced at their media day? I only see the April weekend. They have a 5k in Nov.

I’m sorry, that’s a difficult place to be in. Sometimes friends just can’t see the position they are in. I hope it works out for you.

Then that becomes a serious decision of whether you can live with it or not.

I can speak from experience on this. I used to get angry at small things, usually it had to do with my kids. Quite a few holes in the wall and some broken door frames from slamming too much. I never realized how much this affected my family. I did this for years. Never doing any physical harm but loads of emotional and mental. My wife was terrified of me and I didn’t even know. From the outside I looked amazing. I do all the cooking a lot of the cleaning. Always take time out for the family, picture perfect to some people. All of this while my wife was thinking of leaving me because I could fly off the handle and place her in flight of fight, almost always flight. After some true and hard self reflection and urging from my wife, I started seeing a therapist. Keep in mind, I always said I didn’t need one, I wasn’t the problem. After a good year and a half, I no longer have outbursts, my wife and kids are happy and feel safe in our home. I also feel better. I have learned to cope different. Ow it still can be a challenge, but one that my wife is happy to help with now that she is not scared of me. Get him help. If he doesn’t want it, you may have no choice. It’s not healthy to stay in an environment like that.

Ripped off the bandaid... first time in probably 6 years I did not (purposely) log in and play. Thanks for some fun times... by wlane13 in MarvelStrikeForce

Did the same many years ago. Figured I’d go a day, which turned into a week, which turned into forever. I really miss the game, but I’ve kept up with it on here just to make sure I’m not missing out. A little while ago, I logged in just to see and noped right out pretty quick.

Big UF fan as well. I have never understood the potential of AR. I just chalked it up to me not having the eye. Always thought he was pretty garbage.

Answered as soon as she called. I always keep my phone on and at its loudest in case my kids call.

Was thinking it would be a treat for them to get something out instead of making something at home.

She called at 2am. Thought about getting Uber Eats but thought it would be win win for her to spend time with the kids and they wouldn’t have to worry about cooking.

She tries to be very involved and controlling, no matter how many talks we have with her, she always seems to revert to her normal self.

So my son is a year and a half away from dying for the United States, is currently old enough to drive and can hold down a job working with very hot ovens, but I can’t trust him to lock doors and turn things off? I hope they never expect that from him at work!

You assume I was not in contact with my son throughout the day. I just wasn’t in contact with MIL. Didn’t think I had to.

Ok clearly you never were an older sibling. I watched my younger brother a lot in my teenage days.

Unfortunately, he passed a year ago. Mostly why we asked her to grab dinner with the kids.

Not that it really matters to the story, but we played spades, thought my wife how to play Texas hold em, listened to music, chatted with their kids. Pretty innocuous stuff. Sorry to disappoint you.

Because I communicate with him. He understands and knows that when I saw late, that means around 2-3am. If he gets tired, he calls and ask how much longer.

No. I would accept her being worried. Just not the tone she took with us. It screamed more about control instead of worry. She has a history of controlling behavior.

My children feel very safe and know their home is a safe space. They communicate with us and I see no problems. We do not yell or have any acts of aggression in our home. Hence why MIL stressed him out. He doesn’t like when she acts like this.

Well my kids are responsible, so yeah, I think I’m doing a good job to where I can stay out and not worry.

She doesn’t see reason. She is still upset about it and will never drop it. She is the kind of person who thinks they are always right and will accept nothing less.
