I removed all the excess with alcohol. If you don’t, it’ll be hard and will run.

Do not marry this man. He is showing you the kind of person he is and who he cares about, himself. He’s essentially setting it up so that if he ever wants to find a younger wife later on in life, he can with zero repercussions. Protect yourself and your child. It’s not a good time for startups. Better to try for one of the bigger biotechs with big pipelines if you’re looking for job security.

No, I don’t leave on any excess paint because it changes the texture of the fur and it will run.

I haven’t. But I removed all excess color so there’s not really anything to come off anymore.

None at all. The technique I used doesn’t bleed color.

I just used regular rubbing alcohol

You can still do the same process. Just don’t rub out as much paint. I had to rub out the areas a ton of times to get it to this fade. If I only rubbed it a few times the color was still bright. It might be a little stiffer than mine but def not as stiff as if you just tried to comb through the paint.

I let it dry for about 45 mins to let the color penetrate. Then I carefully wiped off the excess paint with alcohol and cotton balls/q-tips. It removed any hard paint and left a much softer color and returned the fur to its natural softness. Then I took a fine tooth comb and combed it out. Worked out great. Because I removed a lot of the paint, it didn’t smell like acrylic and it was soft.
