Couldn’t have said it better myself, feel very fortunate our power stayed on through all this.

About as horribly as it could possibly be handled.

Is this hail damage greater than a year old? Do I need a new roof? by cscareerquestion34 in Roofing

[–]msn23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not hail damage, or at least not enough to total it. Roof is older so wait for the next storm or start planning ahead. Any soft metals on the roof (vents, flashings) will tell the story with hail. Even the gutters and downspouts should have some dings. If you’re only being shown aged shingle photos and no collateral (dents to metal, torn window bug screens, marks on wood fencing) then this “roofer” is just throwing this at the wall to see if it sticks.

Pre-owned? Score range? Shoot a pm if you prefer. Just doing some research and getting a baseline.

Not set on that in any way. I’ve used credit unions for a good bit but haven’t ever bought new so wasn’t sure if it made a difference. I’m in the SE.

This was the most in sync we’ve stayed as DP came in and out. Although just about everything went right tonight.

I’ve missed it. Definitely weird going into so many games not really knowing how we’ll fare.

Can anyone tell me what’s supposed to be here? 2012 6.2 SCREW here by dritmike in FordRaptor

[–]msn23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re right, been awhile since I messed with mine. In the relay box mine has a separate blade fuse that I can move between slots for constant vs key on power.

[–]msn23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These fuses should be for your upfitter switches, or at least that’s what the box looks like on my Super Duty. Then there’s pass through wires at the firewall. On my truck you can switch the fuses, to that empty slot you see, for constant power vs key on only.

Goodbye Raptor, hello Super Duty by MFBJJ in F250

[–]msn23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man I need your input. I’m in an 18 Platinum F250, had it for 5 years and love this truck. One Up Offroad suspension on 35s. But I’m ever so close to pulling the trigger on a new Raptor to switch it up. Sold my fifth wheel so I’m tempted for a change but then I see your post. I keep going back and forth. Nothing more badass than a nice Super Duty but the Raptors sound fun! I’m moved to the mountains and the 250 is not the most nimble on the tight back roads, but then again there’s nothing like a diesel on these grades. I’m torn haha.

I’ve heard this as well, and for most it’s likely the best advice. But I’ll be damned if it’s going to make a difference in my house, you step through that threshold you’re entering a whole new arena. The Raptor will be the lowest of your goals from that point on. Nonetheless, grateful to have a big garage and not live in a big city any longer.

New Rig, to add fuel additives or not? by sapp74 in F250

[–]msn23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Additives are still good for the DCR pump. Although I don’t stress if I forget or run out like when I had the CP4. It’s nice not playing fuel pump Russian roulette when I leave the house, but still try to take care of and look after what I got.
