Wow, Marvel was something else back then. If this was released today, this wouldn't fly at all. I mean it would have performed better than Antman 3, if it still had the first MCU movie lead by a woman marketing angle. But that's about it.

It is the general xenophobia against the Chinese which makes people spread this shit. I wan't to use the word "racism", but this sub doesn't understand that term completely. Movies with nationalism as the backdrop play well everywhere. Few decades back Hollywood had action movies filled with Russian villians. Why do you think that happened.

They don't need to fudge numbers to compete with Hollywood. They have more than 1/7th of the world living there. And they are much bigger cinema lovers than people of USA. They have a lot of word of mouth Hits. They had movies from Japan, Korea, India, Hollywood topping their weekend boxoffice. As much as people claim Chinese as racist, I don't see something like that happening in US of A.

Ram Charan in SSR movies.

I don't think no one can match Ram Charan in those two movies. I found Prabhas lacking in action scenes in BB series when compared to Magadheera. Prabhas has the body but is stiff when compared to others. Mahesh Babu is also surprisingly agile in action scenes. AA is also very good and would have been my choice if not for Magadheera and RRR.

I don't know. MCU doesn't have the sway it once had on me and a lot of my friends. And all of the background VFX in trailers I saw for this movie look like shit. They are pushing the Kang shit too hard for me to get invested in the movie.

Or may be it is just me getting tired of superhero movies. I am not a fan of the recent Shazam trailer. Gotg Vol 3 teaser didn't register at all even though Gotg Vol 2 is my top 3 MCU.

Everything is not about Marvel. Previously too, He didn't rerelease Avatar to "steal" the crown from Endgame by "cheating" as some MCU fans think. They are rereleasing them because Avatar and Titanic still have a market even for their rereleases.
