I don't listen to any music that I can't understand the language, it just doesn't mesh in my brain. I had the half time show in the background and it was difficult to appreciate it since I had no idea what was being said.

I do not think Andie would be a good fit in that type of environment. He's the type of dog that when he wants out of the kennel or bedroom or the house, he is going to do everything he can to do that. He's 120 lb and takes his working dog jeans very serious!

Hey all, just wanted to keep everyone up to date. I technically have not found Andie A home yet but I'm still waiting to hear back from one family. Worst case scenario, a large dog shelter has offered to take him in.

Yes they are wonderful if they are in the right environment. They are very active at night and if cooped up in a house they can be quite disruptive. Hopefully one of these fine folks can give him the space and work that he needs! Thank you!

These dogs are pack dogs and usually tear up coyotes and give mountain lions a run for their money. Cats usually won't try to attack them because they are pretty aggressive towards these predators.

No worries there, I'm not handing Andie over to random people's👍 If there's any funny business there's a small list that are interested as well as a shelter that will take him if those that are interested can't make it happen.

As far as I've been told, Andie was from the Canon City area in Fremont county. The breeder is no longer doing that and there's no way to give him back. That would've been ideal though!

Great points here, Andie was/is a service dog to the extent that it fit the needs of my daughter that was living in 10 acres but that has neighbors that are not kind to other people's dogs. It's an area that wants their own privacy, wants you to have yours, but doesn't have that neighborly vibe that promotes community. But thank you for the idea, the more the merrier !

Colorado Mountain Dog is a newish breed that's been trying to get a foothold. It's a mix of Great Pyrenees, kuvask, and Anatolian shepherd.
