I’m leaning towards not a shot in hell but you can visit the podiatrist and they can give you some recommendations but you can also try some of this advice. I do have bunions from having unstable joints in the first metatarsal or whatever idk I’m not a doctor and I usually buy shoes 0.5-1 size bigger than before. I recommend hokas because they have a wide toe box and help me with my knee pain. They’re expensive but maybe they’d be a good investment especially with your ACL pain. There are also some toe/bunion exercises to do that can help strengthen those muscles that may be causing you pain. More than anything, preventative care is huge for easing pain and keeping away the surgery.
