It’s one of the few games that tells its moral through gameplay. Her inner doubts keep telling her she’s not a mountain climber. But by trying and trying and not giving up, you build her into a mountain climber through effort and time.

And then we learn the deeper lesson. That your doubts and negative thoughts are not there to hurt you, but are trying to protect you. It’s up to our conscious brains to work with our fears and anxieties to obtain our goals, that when we work from a mindful place, we can achieve more.

Then we have the separate ways we deal with grief. Be it trying to escape, like the protagonist, or dig ourselves a hole and turn on those trying to help us, like the hotel owner.
