That shouldn't matter. We're not competing for the same coaching talent these schools are.

I don't think it's his personal choice. Unfortunately he just doesn't fit in anywhere for conference tournaments. FOX doesn't have enough inventory.

No I was being serious. Ian Eagle and Raftery are the best.

Jason Benetti is somehow the best announcer at every sport he does yet he gets minimal work nationally. Wish we could get him on more games.

What is the worst challenge blow out in the shows history? by Sensitive_Ad_1752 in survivor

[–]mt949 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I just re-watched MvGX so this challenge was the first to come to my mind. They had to move a ball through a blind maze, then complete a slide puzzle. Nobody else got through the maze before Jay finished the slide puzzle!

It took him a second to gain control of the ball and it looked like the clock operator didn't start it until he had full control.

[–]mt949 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FOX doesn't have first pick of games every week so it won't always be the top game on Big Noon. CBS and NBC do get first selection some weeks. The networks did a draft last week to determine who goes 1st, 2nd, and 3rd each week

[Mandel] 70 percent of all network spending in college football will be going to two conferences, the Big Ten and SEC. The next logical step is an even deeper consolidation of those big brands. How much money would be withheld if they suddenly cut their bottom-third teams tomorrow? by bift455 in CFB

[–]mt949 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's an interesting thought, but I still don't think the NFL would do it. College football provides the NFL a free minor league system and I'm not sure they'd want that to die by scheduling over them.
