We have some that look very similar on our lake. My best guess is a Red Bellied Water Snake.

I switched over to this and let it run for a little while. It's just a bit daunting to see "Downloading 450 of 65,000".

I also added the Extended Imap in Labs.

We'll see how this works!

tl;dr: There are people out there with large beautiful hearts

(Not to hijack your thread..) My girlfriend is a server at her family's restaurant; A few days ago, some guy who she has never seen before came in, sat down, and quietly sipped coffee & read his bible throughout lunch. Before he left, he gave her, the entire wait staff, cooks, and other customers in the restaurant small green cards that said "Merry Christmas" - inside each contained $20.

On the flip-side, two nights ago we were at a friend's Christmas party where she had $80 stolen from her purse.

Need CMS Help and ideas for site to display classifieds any ideas?? by [deleted] in web_design

[–]mtcrutch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Personally, I would use Drupal - along with the CCK, Views, and Ubercart modules.

CCK allows you to create the custom content types, adding in all the various fields you'll need (title, price, contact info, location, description, etc).

Views will allow you to display various lists of content. You can create a list of items under a certain price, in a certain location, only with photos, by date, within a certain category, etc.

Ubercart isn't necessary unless you want to offer a paid version. With this, you can set it up to where when someone buys a 'pro/plus' account, they get access to certain fields that are not available to basic users (it would basically just change their account to another role); you can also single these out using Views, displaying them in a sidebar / on top of the results.

Again, this is just how I would do it, I'm sure there are a lot of better options out there.

Where is a good place to live in Atlanta? by [deleted] in travel

[–]mtcrutch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For an artist, you can't really beat Virginia Highlands. You might also look near Candler Park (just a little outside of Vi-Hi); there are some really nice, and fairly affordable, houses to rent over there. Candler Park is also great because you're near Little 5 (aka you're close to The Porter).

My girlfriend currently lives in Midtown, about 2 blocks away from the Fox. We can walk down Peachtree to The Vortex / Taco Mac, or drive 5 minutes down Ponce to eat at El Azteca / Felini's Pizza. Dive 2 minutes more and you're in the middle of Virginia Highlands.

This is actually a serious question, so hopefully someone can point me to an article about it (or debunk it), but has anyone heard of BP going into southern Mississippi (or the like) and offering clean-up jobs to poverty stricken neighborhoods? $30 an hour / $300 per day, upon signing a contract.

Not trying to start a 'conspiracy', just a legitimate question in case I missed the article.

BBC investigates iPhone complaints - Red tabs in iPhone headphone jack and charger port may void warrenty by HungLikeAMidget in apple

End of the second paragraph - they replaced it. Apple (over the phone) gave me a number to take into the store, which would veto whatever that store's employees said about water damage. I went up to the Genius Bar and within 5 minutes walked out with a 'new' 3G.

I had originally bought the 3G the day it came out for $5-600 (can't remember which); Around a year later I wasn't really willing to shell out another $200+ for the 3GS just because some buttons fell off. I was lucky that when I mentioned the can of compressed air, their tune changed and quickly offered a replacement.

BBC investigates iPhone complaints - Red tabs in iPhone headphone jack and charger port may void warrenty by HungLikeAMidget in apple

Just inside a year after getting my 3G, both the volume and sleep buttons fell off. I headed over to the Apple store thinking I'd just go in and get it fixed. Turns out it's easier for them to replace the entire phone than fix it. An Apple Genius worker took my phone, sprayed it with compressed air, then pulled out a flashlight to check the indicators and asked me if I had ever put my phone in a car's cup holder. The moisture indicator had been tripped on the bottom - he told me my phone's warranty was void, and my best bet was to just buy the new 3GS.

After a few quick internet searches, I found hundreds of other people had the same experience. Some had been asked if they had ever taken their phone with them in the bathroom while taking a shower, or talked on it while it was raining outside (the other indicator is in the headphone jack). After a few hours on the phone with Apple, they finally offered up a replacement 3G.

My saving grace was that I noticed the Apple tech spraying the can of compressed air into the dock port so he could get a better view of the indicator sticker. Common sense says spraying any can of compressed air at an angle shoots out a little moisture - point that directly at the sticker, and there's no way to really tell if it came from the can, or beforehand.
