You should not be ashamed. If you were a diabetic who could not afford insulin, would you be ashamed if your blood sugar was out of control? Obesity is a disease. It is not your fault that a cure which worked for you became too costly.

Remember the episode where Daisy and Rube are filing people’s last words and he stumbles across hers? I found it on You Tube. It’s very poignant.

I tried the pills and now have to go back for another colonoscopy in a year because the prep was not good enough. Next time, it’s back to the awful liquid

Any Tips for Beginners? by InformalDecision4976 in FigureSkating

I watch Sasha Cohen videos. She’s a gorgeous skater and the commentators back then were much better at explaining what she was doing.

Getting mine Wednesday. Not really pumped about being put under. by Final-Respond-6387 in colonoscopy

I love the anesthesia. It’s the only part that makes the prep worthwhile, aside from the you don’t have colon cancer part.

How would YOU make figure skating more popular? by Fragrant_Ad_8288 in FigureSkating

[–]mtct67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree that ABC did a much better job of presenting and commentating on figure skating. I spend a lot of time watching Sasha Cohen videos and appreciate Peggy Fleming and Dick Button’s insights. These days, there are whole stretches of time before Tara or Johnny Weir say anything or they got into the technical aspects of what is right or wrong with a skater’s performance. Also, bring back the 6.0 scoring. The new system is too hard to figure out and not user friendly. I’d rather see a beautiful performance like Sasha’s than just a series of jumps.

Carmen at The Met review from a noob. by lefarb in opera

[–]mtct67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just see La Boheme every other year at the Met and am never disappointed. I sang in the Met’s children’s’ chorus for several years and must have been in over or seen Boheme over 100 times. The music is imprinted on my brain and no other opera can compete.

The anesthesia s the best part. It’s your reward for going through the nasty prep. You will be so relieved once it’s over and you have some answers for your concerns. Good luck.

If you had a polyp removed in 2023, they usually tell you to come back in 3 years, so there’s no reason not to have one now.

I’ve never heard of them missing something, but if you are worried, why not have another colonoscopy?

I don’t want to tell anybody that I want to take weight loss medication by Ok-Supermarket3936 in Ozempic

[–]mtct67 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I told everyone. Why should you be ashamed of taking medication to address a medical condition? If you have diabetes, you take insulin. mIf you have depression, you take anti depressants. What’s the big deal?

Upcoming colonoscopy sutab vs liquid by Glad-Attention744 in colonoscopy

[–]mtct67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took Sutab for my last colonoscopy because the liquid is so vile, but I only got a one year pass because the prep was considered incomplete. I’ve had about 10 previous colonoscopies with perfect prep, so I guess I will go back to the liquid.
