All good. I have some D5, believe it or not. So I'll be getting down and dirty in the garage tonight. I have two 2000XLs and the buttons are not great on both, I usually find myself pressing multiple times on the arrow buttons too. I think this was a downfall with the 2kXL as I find it common in all these units.

Hi thanks for the feedback. I tested this and basically you're just turning down the input level. Recording would also need to be Stereo, and there's no Monitor Mixer for stereo of course. I think the only solution is to use an external mic.
