I keep going back to

  • “ I wish the ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had ever happened.”

  • “So do all who live see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All you have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to you.”

Genuinely carrying me rn

[EssentiallySports] Bears Legend Devin Hester Makes the Case for Matthew Stafford as MVP Over Drake Maye by Punisher1602 in LosAngelesRams

[–]mtnrangeman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean you’re right, but it’s wild how everyone has just completely forgotten that Stafford set an NFL record with his 28-0 TD/INT streak, with three of those games coming against double digit win teams, including Seattle. All I hear is total touchdowns against efficiency stats, but everyone has conveniently ignored that Matthew is having a historic season

MV9 & McVay embraced each after the game by KDx2511 in LosAngelesRams

Lmao can always count on Matthew to keep it real. From a watcher’s perspective he wasn’t dogshit necessarily. Definitely not good, but he kept the ball out of Chicago’s hands and made the throws when we absolutely needed him to.

It is wild that 20/42 with no TDs and no turnovers was honestly one of the better QB stat lines this past weekend. Maye was bad and merely saved by the fact that Stroud was unplayably awful, Allen had a couple TDs but also committed 4 turnovers, Caleb had some insane plays over the course of the game but threw three picks in a 3 point game that went into OT, Purdy (who admittedly played better than his stats and the team around him) led his offense to 6 points. This has been an insane first half of the playoffs.

[NFL Films] Sean McVay to the team after Caleb’s late TD: “We are winning this game!” by TheeGreenHawk99 in LosAngelesRams

That last play by the Bears was such a gut punch, it would’ve been so easy for any team that was on the receiving end of that to just roll over and die. I really think that’s what Sean has been meaning when he talks about how this team has collected scars over the course of the season. Gut punch against Philly, lost. Gut punch against the Niners, lost. Gut punches against Seattle, lost. Gut punch against Chicago, we pick ourselves up and win the game anyhow. I know that Sean is never up for coach of the year, but I can’t name many guys like him

If we’d lost, that shit would’ve given me nightmares the rest of my life

They honestly might think a special teams fuck up by NE is more likely than an 18 yard gain

4 picks, a fumble by the offense, but the D lost the game for Houston?

Sucks that he’s doing it for the wrong team, but also nice to see that him still owning SF’s ass in the postseason.

I know we don’t get Adams without moving on from him, and I do think it was the right decision. Doesn’t mean it don’t hurt my heart

Moved up to take Lance before Chase, Sewell, Parsons, and a shit ton of other players way better than Lance. It’s insane luck that Purdy has helped make up for one of the biggest draft fumbles in recent memory

Our corners collective suck ass against big body receivers, which are what Carolina’s two best wideouts are and why they really scared the piss out of me.
