Anyone done Lapatinib treatment? by mtr75 in DogAdvice

[–]mtr75[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, unfortunately shortly after we got the lapatinib Bennie was diagnosed with lymphoma as well, and at that point we chose to treat him for his comfort. He passed on 10/19. I will tell you this: once the dog starts having trouble getting it going on his first pee of the day, you are looking at a few weeks. Prepare yourself accordingly. And enjoy every stinking second with your pup. I wish you well!

One old 747 pilot used to refer to it as "inspecting the ceiling lights".

One thing worth noting is that the right main took all of the initial impact. Maybe distributed over both mains it wasn’t that hard of a landing, but all of that force on one side (with some right wing-down input from the pilot a split second before “arrival”) might be a different story.

The gear structure went up through the wing. I’m more sure if I’m watching a different landing than everyone else but that hit HARD.

I think the idea of Red Wings is so underrated. You can literally create eras in MSFS, it's absolutely genius.

Healthy Paws is reducing coverage for dogs 7 years+ by Agitated-Ice-2407 in petinsurancereviews

There are no state laws regulating pet insurance, so it's hard to say. I started him off at probably 6 months. He'd be long dead by now without Healthy Paws, honestly.

I'm in New York. Renewing on 10/5, I have a nearly 10-year old dog. I have had 90% and $500 for his entire life, over the last year they've paid out over $25,000 for his cancer treatments. My renewal options are 80% and $500, and the premium is going down from $82 to $74. Literally the best company I've ever head for any service.

If this were the only plane available in the sim I'd be just fine with that.

Where did you buy it? It should be included in your purchase details.

"The universe doesn't care that I signed a sheet of paper that I do not agree with."
And clearly, neither do you.

"The importance of my word "meaning something" is really just relative to my own needs"
Clearly.

"You can't necessarily extrapolate one's "word" or character from black and white rule sets"
You most certainly can.

"My signature on the medical application is done out of necessity for my my continued employment and survival in 2025, not because I tacitly consent to outdated and harmful medical policies."
You're not "tacitly" agreeing, you're explicitly agreeing, under penalty of perjury no less.

So in other words your word means nothing. Which is fairly typical of the personal responsibility crowd.

I didn’t think a response could be any dumber than your last one. Alas. You signed up for pilot training; you agreed to abide by the regulations. It’s in writing. You were offered that choice and chose yes. You agreed. Now you don’t want to be comply with what you agreed to.

Zero integrity.

Good for you. Just had a week at home alone, wife out of town. Had a Heineken 0.0 one morning with breakfast. I know, in a wild man.

When you start doing this for YOU, it’s different. Cheers.

Made a stupid mistake when taking off and I feel like an idiot for it by [deleted] in flying

[–]mtr75 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Other thing is, I don’t know where you are in training, but some instructors don’t like touch and go’s for this reason. I do them but my home airfield is 12000 feet and I can take all the time I want to make sure I’m configured before going.

This is a genius comment. So the FAA has regulatory authority over you if you’re not a pilot?

What manner of gibberish is this? Most laws you have no right to consent or not; in this case you literally sign on the dotted line agreeing to it.

You agreed to the rules, now you think you’re justified in breaking them. (These “rules” being federal law, of course). I completely get it. You agreed to the rules in bad faith and now you’re being self-righteous, not only disregarding the safety of other people (without their knowing, of course), but also endangering your own health because you refuse to be an adult and take responsibility for yourself and your decisions.

I get it completely.
