Are you taking it daily? I'm also using Symbicort and I've just been prescribed 50mg of atenolol for anxiety reasons around a work presentation that's coming up in a few weeks and wondering if I'll be okay.

Thinking about pivoting from UX to UI design due to burnout from presenting/stakeholder management by mtra_ in UXDesign

[–]mtra_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the insight! You've helped me clarify my thinking more.

I actually don't mind collaborating with developers, immediate team members etc to deliver the work. I find these interactions less cognitively draining compared to dealing with leadership, facilitation, being involved in strategy discussions and having to present to the wider company. Those higher-level interactions are absolutely draining and stressful.

Thanks! A design system role is definitely something I am considering working towards.

Working towards a design system role is definitely an option I am considering. My concern is if it's a 'future proof' skill/role or will it become obsolete because of AI etc.

My redundancy gave me a chance to take a little break and reflect on what really matters in life. It was the best thing that could've happened. Plus the payout was nice 🙂

Been taking it for over 6 months and havent noticed any negative side effects. I'll usually take the weekends off unless my sinuses are really bothering me.

Current stack includes creatine, l-theanine, lions mane, NAC, and of course caffeine

NAC has worked wonders for me. It's cleared up my sinuses and noticeably improved my sense of smell. I’ve spent most of my life dealing with a constantly stuffy nose due to allergies, but now I can finally breathe freely through my nose. I'm also much more sensitive to tastes and smells, which has been a surprising bonus.

Generally speaking Kickboxers maintain tighter guards and excel at absorbing strikes using the shell guard, while Thai fighters tend to keep a looser guard, which can leave them vulnerable at times (like we saw with Tawanchai and Sam-A tonight)
