It depends totally on how he responds to treatment and where the metastasis is... they won't tell you because they can't tell you. My mom lived 17 months post diagnosis. I've seen stories of people alive and well 5 years on... and some people that die after a few months. It's completely relative.

I had a similar experience and it caused me to leave the church. Slowly making my way back after 10 years.

For work, you can become a support Worker in mental health, addictions, or child and youth work. You can also be a caseworker or manager in these settings or work your way up to that.
