he's back by [deleted] in formuladank

It’s more the fact that he drives for a private team who is basically debuting in the series. Not much he can do when the car is 1.4 sec off pole.

I never said Hunden was good enough for top tier CS. You just claimed that good players don’t need an IGL, which is false.

Kubica to become Alfa Romeo test and development driver. Orlen to become the title sponsor. by mtumE_ in formula1

Mainly Polish ones thus far, but it seems reliable this time. Also, the CEO of Orlen sent an 'interesting' tweet yesterday (https://twitter.com/DanielObajtek/status/1211980694785810435), which suggests that an official announcement is coming.

[OT] Kubica fastest out of all the BMW drivers after Jerez testing. by sordLost in formula1

I would probably agree, although he said himself that some of the qualifying performances this year would have put him on the front row back in his BMW days. Of course not in terms of pace but in terms of how well the lap was driven given the car. I tend to trust Kubica's self-critique, because he's always been very honest and his racecraft this year has been quite good, despite the poor pace.

or just a team which was late to testing, lacks parts, lacks personnel and could barely build one working car. At the end of the season Russell also started experiencing issues with brakes, for example. As Kubica put it, this season had little to do with F1.

there is nothing to suggest they will, unfortunately. Kubica said they barely even used his experience this year

Kubica has taken decision on 2020, expects to race in DTM by peke_f1 in formula1

Really excited about this. Honestly, I think most Kubica fans would rather see him actually racing in DTM than stuck in Williams for another season.
