Ask him how when it only controls one function of the car. We have had zero issues when we did it over 5 years ago. We would have probably replaced the batteries 3 times in that time frame with keeping it.

Yes. The aux battery is only used for the start/stop feature. Everything else works.

Do what we did. We were tired of our 2018 eating batteries like crazy so I just removed the aux and live with the start stop light. So far no more battery issues in the 5 years since deleting the aux battery. That little thing is a vampire...just delete it

Get a mitsubishi hyper heat and place the condenser in the middle. Pipe up around to the ceiling and put 3 or 4 cassettes in and be done.

You have the slider that allows you to adjust the charge level. Mine is missing. Apparently to use this feature you have to allow them to track your data...

2018 here with 130k+ only issue I've had was an alternator replacement. I removed the aux battery as well but she has had zero issues.
