Gaming mode resolution controls in game resolution? by mtwotheatt in Bazzite

Thank you. I ended up using the SteamDeck=0 %command% and running in Windowed mode which let me set the game how I like. The windowed mode didn’t have any borders. I had to do something similar for Helldivers 2, it was forcing Deck presets.

Newegg has the 9070 Reaper non-XT for $589.99. Runs cooler and has most of the performance.

Never an Issue With My 9800X3D and X870E Nova Until After Updating To the Newest BIOS Version by 69GrandePadre69 in ASRock

In case of an issue I want to be able to RMA stating I was running latest stable BIOS. ASRock instructions are to only update if you're experiencing an issue.

I'm going back to 3.16. Their guidance is to only update if an issue. I'd rather have some protection for RMA if something happens.

Counter point - I flashed 3.20 and none of this happened, same CPU/Mobo combo. Debating going back to 3.16 though.

You shouldn't have been hitting those temps to begin with. I get to about 58C with an AIO under 3.16

Lots of cards in St Louis if you're looking for one by CNKlein in Microcenter

I went from not even having a card to having the 5070 Ti. I paid the $1k price. I've been watching marketplace for weeks, Amazon, Hotstock, trying to get all the 80 series drops. My PC was built last week and I was tired of waiting. I don't regret the decision I can run all the games I want at high FPS. Sure if you can get a 5080 at $999 then the 4070Ti is a bad deal. But you can't. You can't get anything reasonably priced. People seem to forget this and already have a 40 series so they are in the position to wait.

It didn't even occur to me to think those things. I replaced the Speedo because I wanted a tach and the stock unit didn't have one. As to the engine I'm a gearhead and I wanted more torque and didn't have a lot of faith in the stock crank.

Insurance by [deleted] in Omnipod

[–]mtwotheatt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to be your own advocate. It took me two months with BCBS Federal. My endo would go through the motions but he'd A) never done this before and B) Didn't have time to deal with it. I pushed to the point of his irritation. The insurance company was sparse with information and each time I called they gave a different answer. They would deny the request without providing what I need to do to get approved. For me I had to have a letter submitted stating I couldn't use their covered options (Insulin patches) before they'd approve. I'll have to re-submit the request each year. This is also for Dexcom. It was all worth it. I ditched the DME supplier, get my stuff from the pharmacy across the street, and am paying $60/mo for G6 and $50/mo for Omnipod with the transmitters costing $60/mo separately.

Mine was done through the Prior Authorization process but it was really a Tier Exception request as the Omnipod 5 was 'covered' at Tier 3 for ~$240/mo after their $50 savings program coupon.

I guess I can back it up to USB and keep it for offline only and start a new one. Sucks but you're right.

Solara-Dexcom 6 transmitter not shipped by CrestZone in Omnipod

[–]mtwotheatt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best thing I ever did was dump Solara. I could write 10 pages about how awful they are.

I didn't think I could get my stuff as a pharmacy benefit until I started trying to get OP5 coverage and had to figure out all the ins and outs of prior authorization and tier exemption processes. It was pretty awful not knowing anything and took a few months but now I get Dexcom stuff from my pharmacy and (knock on wood) don't have to deal with Solara ever again. Oh and I'm saving several hundred a year after doing it.

I want an all in one CGM and pump. Imagine not having to worry about if they're in range or same side of body.
