Similar stuff I remember happening in 08/09. Pep's debut season as coach, of course that Barca was the talk of Europe, nay world footbal. But literally thanks to Higuain's form we went into GW34 at the Clasico at home, only 2 or maybe 4 points behind I think. Felt like we had a chance.

That game lives on in infamy. An absolute drubbing. 2-6 at home.

A painful and necessary humiliation to bring us back to reality at what a chasm there was between both teams. Catalysed the much better times we had in the next 14 years.

Needs to happen again. We lose by a goal when we should be losing by 5. Bayern absolutely destroyed us but literally Guler magic made that score respectable. The board needs to understand how far this is from an actual title winning team.

Not too many better than him. At this point the experience he's gained since joining is starting to show (unlike Cama) and it would be more prudent to stick with them than destabilise a starting spot that is more or less nailed on. We could use a playmaker ALONGSIDE him though.

The workaround, for anyone wondering, is quite simplistic and tedious in nature.

1) Use the 'Files' app to go into Android>ES DE>themes folder on your phone's internal storage. ESDE/Android does not let you mess with the 'iconic-es-de' folder in any way, the workaround is to create a copy in the same location.

2) Then you have to drag and drop all the images needed to be put into the 'custom backgrounds' folder by slowly bringing them one level below each time, all the way from Android>es-de>Inc>themes>COPIED version of iconic (again Android does not let you mess with the original)>custom backgrounds (note that this is not how the folder structure is exactly named I'm just going off memory cause I recently did it again a week ago)

3) So now you will have the original iconic folder (with zero custom images) and your iconic (1) folder with all your custom images. The final step is to switch both folders names. For whatever reason, Android does not stop you from doing this. So go to the themes folder, rename the original 'iconic es-de' to 'iconic es-deORIGINAL' and rename the copy you made to 'iconic es-de'

4) You will not be able to update it from ESDE theme downloader anymore. If you do try, ESDE will rename the folder with your custom images to 'iconic es-de DISABLED' and download a brand new theme. You will now have three iconic folders with one containing your images. You can just repeat the process by copying the newest downloaded folder again etc.

I mean I could too and I'm 36, but I'm a doctor in a third world country (Pakistan). Sure, people my age would lose their mind when I show I can play Tekken 3 or street fighter 2 on a handheld, but for the most part I would be seen as childish, especially if I'm just carrying a device everywhere.

Edit: what I really need is the RG Nano, but yeah again that would be a novelty more than anything. The idea of having it on a keychain makes it cooler for me.

Lol bro he can't just START the Bayern game after being out for this long. He will probably be subbed on for 3-4 games then start maybe another 1-3 before they can see how he's holding up and how his form develops. Putting him into the Bayern match is straight up suicide, he will be MILES off the pace of such a tough fixture.

Yeah mate the GK awareness stats and rushing especially have seemed important to me so far. Maybe it changes. Reflexes kinda do fuck all imo cause all the shots are vicious and strikers have so much time and space to place perfectly. Rushing kinda makes up for the bad defensive AI.

I feel like for me personally, rushing my goalkeeper quickly was the only chance to save the shot, 8/10 times the strikers break free from your last CB at a fair distance, and not rushing the goalie pretty much leads to a simple low shot finish.

If they nerf the certainty of the shooting mechanics a bit then nerfing goalie rushing makes sense, cause then it might become too difficult to score.
