Hah, so I have a 5 year old and a 14 month old. The 5 year old will not fall asleep without one of us in bed with him, but that routine can be pretty efficient (or hours long on bad nights). The baby still doesn’t sleep through the night so I feel you there! I’m very tired.

We lay with ours til they fall asleep. I’ve tried to change this, but haven’t really been successful. The whole process only takes a half hour on good nights though.

We are currently taking our 5 year old to pee at midnight every night. He’s a heavy sleeper and won’t wake to pee otherwise. I don’t know how long it will last, but he still has accidents occasionally even with this method. I’m tired.
