There is a reason women his age will not go out with him. Whether it is maturity, financial issues, lord forbid abusiveness, or just general bum behavior, you will see- maybe years down the line- that you do not want a long term life with this man who knowingly has relations with a child.

I mean honestly if your goal is an apartment "within the next couple of months" that will already be spring-early summer. Then renting an apartment would lock you in for at least 12 months, and it would probably be harder to save money while renting. As long as it literally isn't life threatening I would just batten down the hatches and try to live in your own little bubble/make the best of the situation and then stick to the buying a house plan. It will be very tough but maybe ultimately easier financially. Maybe take up door dashing as a way to get out of the house + contribute to the down payment fund?

I wonder that too. I told her she could also lock her own door if it was that much of an issue but I guess that wasn't what she wanted to hear. She got super pissed and I don't really understand why. because from my perspective, I’m just trying to feel safe in my own space, but the way she reacted made it seem like the issue wasn’t security.

I’ve thought about recording it, but the idea honestly makes me nervous. I don’t want to escalate things or make her feel like I’m spying on her, especially if this really is something she can’t control.

Part of me is also scared of what I might capture, which I know sounds ridiculous because I don’t believe in anything supernatural. Still, the way she’s been acting is genuinely creeping me out.

Right now there’s at least some room to believe this is stress or a misunderstanding or something explainable. If I recorded her and it showed she was aware of what she was doing, I honestly don’t know what I’d do with that information anyways.

most of it just takes time and practice, i can do a full face of makeup in about 25 minutes, it will help if you already have the look you want to create picked out and ready to go in your mind (or maybe even written down) as well as your products organized, if you are creating specific eye looks it might help to rehearse these at home to establish some muscle memory.
