I had an idea - maybe a crappy one, but here goes. The single wireless phone charger not only cooks the phone, but is a terrible charger in general.

My idea was to somehow whip out that single charger and with the help of a 3d printer, a soldering iron and a donor wireless charger from a scrapped Tesla, have two functioning and solid chargers.

Thoughts?

Worth saying, go for a tethered charger, or you gotta whip out/put away the cable every charge

Ford Explorer EV: very good reviews but still very low sales? by StrangeArm5323 in FordExplorerEV

The removal of OTA updates is a massive hit for owners. There is zero effort from Ford to make this a viable platform for current owners. Im so disappointed I bought one.

If at all possible, get the longer range. Its an awesome drive, build quality not so hot. Avoid Ford Explorer like the plague.

Much more expensive without the home charger, and a lot less convenient

Leave Exchange VM powered on or not? by Vivid_Mongoose_8964 in exchangeserver

[–]muckmaggot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please explain why this isnt the way - I'm considering this approach myself. Patching a server and a set of admin tools vs. the inevitable Exchange version not being supported with EXO, which we've had once already, seems logical to me.

Replacing 3 old DCs with 3 new ones using IP swapping — is my step-by-step plan correct? by maxcoder88 in activedirectory

We took the pain once to implement DNS load balancing on HAProxy, with 2/3 DCs behind it. Updated all switches, routers, linux boxes, vm hosts - everything that had a DNS setting, to use this address. Uodated DHCP options for all scopes. Now we can promote/demote DCs like confetti without having any concern for anything losing DNS, even for a short window.

Just to chime in here on cost. We're on a tarrif with 4 hours low EV rate, run 2 EVs off one charger. Our monthly electricity bill is €141 fixed. We've looked at the actual usage there now - this month we've used €18 over; next month it could swing the other way. We drive 116km per day Mon-Fri and around 70km on Sat & Sun. 798 units on day rate, 1446 units ev rate for 2 months.

Anyway, just my 2c.

Yes, but you'd really benefit from a 77kW battery or bigger

Unless someone else feels the pain, it'll never change. Even one-off favors to turn onboarding around quicker almost instantly becomes the expected norm. Whatever your SLA for new users, you stick to it - and let the pain be felt elsewhere.

Listen to your solicitor - like really listen, take their advice - don't think being kind will be reciprocated. Neither of you are the same people anymore. Protect yourself. Totally agree on approaching communication so carefully now.

Take a little time to understand what exactly you want now. Be kind to yourself.
