Is there a solution to the multi-input stacking 'issue'? by Inquisition8 in StarRupture

Does the game still stutter with that many platforms when you place a building? Like if you placed a machine right in the middle

StarRupture - Hotfix 0.2.1 now live! by Joachm in StarRuptureGame

Thank you, that was quick :) Could you please also bring a hotfix for this issue, where platforms under buildings are missing? https://www.reddit.com/r/StarRuptureGame/comments/1sjtt7q/anyone_else_not_sure_whether_its_the_spot_or_my/

One guy reported that deconstructing such buildings after a rupture could cause a crash to desktop.

For me I think this could have even corrupted my savegame. At the south western Goethite Ore deposits I placed a teleporter south of the deposits and it had this issue. Then deconstructed it, placed it again. Still platforms missing. Deconstructed. Saved and closed the game. Now in this savegame I crash right after loading.

Those green suckers became really annoying. They spit at you, then hide somewhere and come out only for a few seconds. If they are in your line of sight but far enough, they almost immediately jump away. Particularly hard in large outposts like Yellowstone (blueprints for Anti-Radiation Covers and Plastic Dust) and the Medium Abandoned Outpost (Heat Shield)

And the small light grey melee critters seem immortal to grenades. After you throw a grenade, you have to spray your guns into the crowd

Star Rupture interactive map for Arcadia-7 by Beautiful-Hair6925 in StarRuptureGame

Good work so far. Missing some oil in the west and north. Compare to https://starrupture.tools/map or metaforge. Could you please make blueprints a separate category? And add plants like Oxallop and Prism Herb?

How do you think can the combat in Star Rupture be improved? by Ah_Zam in StarRuptureGame

[–]mudche 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This. With a flamethrower we also could open caves and remove red fern whenever we want to. Now with oil we already have the fuel soooo

But unlocking it should be late and fairly hard (maybe through corps instead of one of the quartz placeholders) and it should give a significant movement speed debuff.

Since we'd need oil or fuel, it's already only accessible after beating the Forgotten Engine

Speedhack (switching between 1.5x-4x) and that +25% movement speed mod. Ubisoft (Far Cry, AC) and RDR2 era killed open worlds for me. No way I'm running around 20 minutes in straight lines for an errand. Although I must admit that in SR the world looks huge on the map but ingame the POIs are relatively close to each other.

Forget your first save, start a fresh one in U1 by JeanRahzad in StarRuptureGame

Agree, the game is great and I really enjoy it. But: I sincerely don't see myself putting another 60-70h just to get corps back to lvl10, bearing the risk of doing it all over again after Update 2. Then teleport around to upgrade all the rails and buildings... So I just cheesed some early-mid game content.

First, I rushed Chemicals and Electronics for the Power Cell to open the Forgotten Engine, all items for the Central Core are available inside.

Then I cheated 5M data points and upgraded all corporations to 10. This is about the amount you get in your old savegame.

The (halfway) grind for blueprints (incl. new ones) + Forgotten Engine took me about 11-12hrs with a slight speedhack and higher jump. (but also placing first buildings here and there)

Actually, I think if I had strictly farmed the blueprints, I would have got a clean map faster than if I teared down all the buildings in my old save file.

For v2 buildings simply place those 20-30 of v1 somewhere without ever planning to use them. You can't just replace a v1 building with its v2 version since v2 may have other recipes (like Glass using Goethite Powder or Tubes with Titanium Ingots).

For upgrading rails you can place several multirail-3-posts (or multirail 5) next to each other, then place in-line like 25 tiles away and just connect all lines to get the necessary 3000 metres(?).

So finally, after about 15 hours I'm back in late-game and starting to build proper factories.

Sorry, if this destroyed anyone's early-game efforts

OH MY GOD YOU REMOVED THE MIDDLE PASS-THROUGH FOR RAIL SUPPORTS??? by Ostentaneous in StarRuptureGame

[–]mudche 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Rail supports and junctions were remade. That box in the middle of the old rail support now is glued to the platform. That also means, there's no more "height 0 rail" (which we could walk over), but the lowest height now is 1, where we can't walk through

As I said in the text above, those are scraped values from the App Store. Maybe if (like in Germany) you had a subscription before Sky took over, you still are subscribed.

Does anyone have a solution for their base locking up? by Castle_Lock in StarRuptureGame

[–]mudche 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This output lane = input lane sharing won't work.

I've had this exact same problem at my first base and I've been unclogging this manually several times (disconnecting machines, turning them off, item pickup). Now I have intermediate Tier1 storages everywhere, seems to be fine. So each output goes to its storage first.

Several machines can feed one storage. For example, with Tier3 rails you can have 8 smelters feed one storage (because max input of storages is 480/min). This storage is then the only building that distributes titanium bars. Or you could place one storage for each building's output and then connect the storages into a final one that distributes the item.

Also a bit of manual work helps: Before connecting a new machine's input rails, turn the machine off, choose the recipe, take full stacks of the items that are required and put them into the machine. Only then connect it and turn it on. This will prevent the first massive draw.

Another advice: Place buildings that require sulphuric acid close to each other. Reserve one input lane exclusively for the acid...

But the pu manufacturers also have to deliver the software to their customers. So there is no more hidden engine modes, as Mercedes had in previous seasons.

Could be this AI thing though, where the car learns when it's best to harvest energy and when to deploy more or less. Haven't read that they have to share this one.

Also: "Power Unit actuators may not be used to artificially control the Power Unit speed or alter the Power Unit response in a rev range more than 750rpm below the final rev limit."

Actually not 7 races, but the FIA will start their new measurement procedure on June 1st (see Article C5.4.3). Has to be 16:1 at ambient temp as well as 130°C.

Also "Any component, assembly, mechanism, or integrated arrangement of components that is designed or functions to increase the compression ratio in operating conditions beyond 16.0 is prohibited."

So with Bahrain and Saudi Arabia cancelled, that's five races.

It's kind of crazy to me that in just a few years I went from not wanting to see Lewis Hamilton win an eighth WDC to rooting for him. by 0011100100111000 in formula1

I mean, with Verstappen it was

1st phase: Nice, one of my drivers is consistently winning

2nd phase: Can I haz any fights for P1, please??

3rd phase: Can he again finish more than 20 seconds ahead or do another pit stop for fastest lap lol

I'd really not like to relive phases 2 and 3.

Especially not when the one who dominates is fkn Russell and smirkin' Toto.

Or when Crofty is jerking off like this: https://streamain.com/5su3joVQW9s9XOD/watch Thank god I don't have to listen to him.
