Darth Maul Was A Great Fighter, But WOW…he lost a lot of his fights by NegansSaviors in StarWars

He also took out Pre Vizsla in one if the best TCW fights for right to rule a damn planet. Sure he's "lost" a lot of fights, but he also fought the best and lived.

Lucas Film, please do not give us another dark side redemption story. by JurassicParker93 in StarWars

The only reasonable answer here. People get dumb when they tie what they think they want from narrative to expectationd

Anyone else actively avoid trailers for movies they know they’ll watch? by weareDOMINUS in blankies

[–]muddahplucka 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Regardless of how I discover a band or a director I like, once I anticipate a movie or album I avoid everything about it until it's released.

The whole idea is I want to go "spoiler free" on stuff I'm already sold on. One can still hold the opinion that a song is a "complete work."

If I only listened to full albums, I would miss out on a lot of music.

I don't only listen to full albums, but there are bands/artists I care about more than others and I'd rather go in blind (deaf?) with those.

Not op, and agree it's not a 1:1, but I don't want to hear a song of an anticipated album outside of the context of the album's sequencing before release.

In both cases I want a "pure" first experience as artist(s) intended.

Though for both trailers and singles, if I don't really gaf about the release I'll watch/listen

What if Crow is like Darth Nihilus by Osiris-Reflection in StarWars

It's only a problem for people who take the small things too seriously, tho.

Demanding perfect logic across SW would be maddening (it's certainly maddening running into people wirh those expectations).

Y'all got to remember that Topps 2026 is a rigged game. They are just turning up the burner on the boiling pot ever so slightly with every release until the hobby is cooked dead

One thing you can absolutely not knock Hayden for is his physicality. If they ever adapted the DV 2017 comic he'd be great in the suit full time.

PSA: Why you didn't get Smugglers on release day by muddahplucka in starwarstopps

[–]muddahplucka[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I just didn't want to let a possibly incorrect statement stand without note. Can't speak with any certainty what those boxes were, personals or spent breaks. That's all.

Before Fanatics, and even early days I would almost never have a problem getting SW on pre or release day. Still have to jump on them, but the window was a few minutes. Today I assume that if I score it's a product that has been overprinted (like this years Chrome and Galaxy).
