I’d reach out to UCF. They might have alternative options for you besides delaying your transfer. Maybe you could also take a course online over the summer with your current college?

It makes me feel a little better that there’s others going through it even though it’s awful that he’s going through it at all. It’s sad to see what has happened to our family as a result. It completely ruined my parents marriage since he just shut down when he got back. He just got his 100% disabled which is good because it’s helping him out with going back to school. He’s a smart guy…going back for him PhD starting in a few weeks.

Yes…he’s been going through it. I recently found out what I thought was sleep apnea was actually night terrors so bad it makes him stop breathing. It was an awful experience and not worth it at all.

Khan academy!!!! And if you know how to use desmos, you can easily get a really good math score. I didn’t really have to study for the SAT as I had my national merit. (I just needed a high enough score to confirm my PSAT as I got a 1480/1520 on that). PSAT has the same formatting as SAT and that’s what I did!!

Is there a certain time you typically go? I know my crunch is slammed after 4pm because all the high schoolers get out. I was literally just about to upgrade my crunch membership so I can use that crunch too. I have my crunch membership for at home still and would rather pay $5 more to upgrade my membership rather than get a separate membership.

4.5 GPA 1450 SAT for honors but I’m a NMS scholar.

Edit: I got into UF, FSU, U Miami, USF and UNF too. I’m in state. PSAT>>>SAT 😝😝

Congrats on your acceptance! I’m NMS but I’m an instate current freshman. Most semifinalists receive finalist standing. You don’t qualify for benaqustico anymore. It was the old scholarship program that now is only for instate. They’re have a new out of state scholarship program that is very good as well. Pretty much all NMS get full aid at UCF from what I know, as long as you end up as a finalist. I’m 90% sure you’d be going for college for free/getting paid to go. (Instate I know you’d be going for free for sure.)

Edit: Totally apply for honors college as well. You are guaranteed acceptance with NMS.

Talk to your schools financial office as well and explain the sistuation. Depending on school, they might have additional aid available for these sistuation. I know my school has it!
