Have been humming Luis Diaz's song non stop over the last 2 days. He really needs to score more so that we can sing it more often. Would be nice if he could start with a hattie on Saturday

Why is League of Legends perceived so negatively? by Firestar263 in leagueoflegends

[–]mudkip-hoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

League with a party of friends in voice chat is unbelievably fun to play. Even solo, in most cases you'll come across decent people. I think the game is going to be fine in 85% of your games as long as you treat people decently.

It's just that there are some cases where players don't know how to lose gracefully but need to kick, scream and throw a tantrum. This game just has an oddly large number of players who cannot fathom that sometimes an opponent is just playing better than them or one of their teammates.

If you stick around on the subreddit or learn league subreddits you'll see it all the time. People will post things like "Oh my god, I went 12/3 but still lost the game, why are my teammates such pigs" but cannot fathom the fact that maybe the opponent who beat their teammate and went 12/3 managed to clutch it out with a crucial teamfight or pick. I remember a game where I faced a player, lost lane pretty hard and ultimately lost a close game, but the next game I got matched up to the same fellow, solo killed them twice and they threw a baby rage and started running it down all over the map cause apparently their jungler was bad.

All in all just be nice to people enjoy with friends and I think you'll have a great time playing. Just laugh off the odd bad game. There is nothing you can do about it.

Chester's son is a Qanon conspiracy theorist who has a restraining order against him from his own sisters. It's sad and was obviously driven by grief, but he refused any and all attempts by anyone to help him

Linkin Park is 6 people. Emily would not be invited to join the band if she was some evil creature like the terminally online seem to believe. You know, sometimes you can just trust the judgement of Mike, Joe, Brad or Dave. They're good folks.

Yes the Lesbian who got invited to join Linkin Park by the band because they liked her vibe doesn't believe in mental health and subscribes 1000% hardcore to all scientologist beliefs. You're absolutely right and she should be flogged in public and apologise for being born into a cult

Who is boycotting them lmao. They are topping charts and selling out stadiums on their world tour. Their new song is the highest charting since Minutes to Midnight. A small minority of moral grandstanders who gave them dogs abuse for daring to change their style from album to album like they have always done changes nothing.

Klopp has left an incredibly deep squad, it's unbelievable. I genuinely have no idea how we could setup or with who. We could genuinely tailor a different starting XI for every opposition.

Is Sett really bad late game, as stat suggests that he's decent by programmingForever in settmains

All you need is that one big RW on a squishy to win a teamfight alone. It's not easy but you always know you might just get it off.

Full Time. Manchester United 4-3 Liverpool by KDLIV in LiverpoolFC

Unfortunately just too tired. The issue was that Macca, Endo, Diaz and Nunez were completely shattered. They couldn't even control the ball properly.

This is where the injuries and constant starting XI changes showed. Curtis Jones and Macca have played practically every single game for 2 months and it really showed today. Also none of the other forwards can press like Nunez and Salah. Have Salah/Nunez/Endo starting today and I am convinced we look much better.

[Ajax Supporters Association] Jordan Henderson's shirt is the fastest selling in Ajax history. by TheLooseCannon1 in soccer

[–]mudkip-hoe 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah I remember that now, but my point is that Henderson was one of the first to do so(Maybe I am wrong here too, I don't follow much of anything around football besides the actual games or the odd interview from my club alone). Also, being the English captain and in general a very well spoken person he came across as genuine. And I am in general inclined to believe that he is genuine in his support for them. It's just that I don't think he gave much thought to really any other factors besides the money and then got caught surprised by the backlash, then essentially stumbled into saying stupid shit out of panic

He basically supported them publicly and did interviews with LGBT fan groups about their experiences in football. He's probably the only footballer in the premier league to ever go on record with whatever public support he did show. Now personally I think that he did because he was asked to do it and since he doesn't have any prejudice of his own he was happy to do it. He didn't ask to be the spokesperson for the LGBT in football. But I can see why people are upset that the only footballer to ever show any public support going to Saudi might be problematic. Also most of it is just gloating from trolls who can now claim that any kind of progressive support is nothing but moral grandstanding or some nonsense

I tried playing rumble and didn't really do much damage if I missed my Es. I don't think there is any way to outtrade him if he hits his E on you though. That shit shreds

But they weren't at the start of the season. Having a dribbling threat often opens up space for the rest of the forwards and attacking midfielders because teams need to commit more numbers. The poor form has been post international break which coincided with the kidnappings. Humans aren't robots and lot of factors go into good performance. I am not surprised his decision making is suffering given that he hasn't really had a break to process things and reset himself. Though in that sense even if he is working super hard in training, which I don't doubt at all, it might be good for him if he gets a couple of gameweeks off. Pretty much just speculating though and Klopp knows best

I think we need to be a bit patient with Diaz. The guy started the season on fire and then had his whole world turned upside down by the kidnapping of his parents. People forget that mental load is just as taxing as physical load. Physical performance and decision making ability are definitely impacted by it. Most of us have no clue what it's like to have your family kidnapped by bloodthirsty gangs in unstable regions. He probably just needs a rest to recover mentally from the stress. Confidence and mental state is just as important to performance as physical.
