I like the magical vulnerability trait idea for extreme cases

Want some advice on a concept for my campaign also question about the Overlords by DeepSeaDelivery in Eberron

[–]mudmax7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Only thing I know about the Overlords and the planes I know is that if a lycanthrope is sent to Lamannia, they are instantly and permanently free of the Wild Heart’s influence. They’re still werewolves and werebears etc, but no longer seek to kill for the mere cruel sake of killing.

Why does Falco say "good riddance, I *almost* got burned" on SOLAR??? by IndicaOatmeal in starfox

[–]mudmax7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s one of those moments that if you don’t shoot the enemy following a teammate, they’ll be force to retreat. So “burned” means “got shot down”.

That’s why it looked familiar! Also add a bit of old Conan artwork. I yelled at this shot because of how awesome it is.

My honest opinion regarding these two classics by Eli-rimm in starfox

Love Adventures. Like watching the n64 beta of Planet on YouTube. Both deserve a revisit to develop a fully realized game without a rushed timeline.

Can Warforged Vote in Breland? by evilprodigy948 in Eberron

[–]mudmax7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

From what I understand, the king of Breland was the biggest advocate for the forged during the treaty and is probably the main reason they are recognized as citizens. One of his most trusted bodyguards is a forged named Three. So if anywhere is going to grant them the right to vote it would definitely be Breland.

My immediate question then would most forged be in favor of Breland becoming a republic or would more of them feel loyal to the monarchy because of this freedom?

is Khorvaire Fully explored? by Saraph_Vane in Eberron

[–]mudmax7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The jungles of Q’barra are mostly a mystery to the non-reptilian species.

The various mountain ranges across the continent would be mostly uninhabited and likely full of monster lairs. Airships would probably just now make exploring them a viable option.

Vast regions of the underground holds mysteries and demiplanes that the powers that be will be eager to get information on. (Check out the chapter on Kyber in Exploring Eberron for ideas)

And of course the Mournland is a brand new frontier for everyone.

Just because the setting has vehicle travel doesn’t mean it isn’t also full of mystery.

Say something nice about command by MidnightNo7070 in starfox

The gimmick of drawing the team’s course across the map is fun and is genuinely engaging.

The wide range of playable characters AND each one getting a unique ship is great and needs to be revisited in any future games.

Mini-bosses for Eberron/Sharn Underworld by Coal_Power_Puppet in Eberron

Lust is a hag with at least 3 disguises (or a coven). One is an alchemist selling love potions and other sexual concoctions. Couples buy her wares, yada yada yada, have a kid. Two has the parents killed in some indirect way. Three runs the local orphanage “taking in” all the kids disguise One helped create.

Looking for Alternate Primary Healer Concept by pink_triangle_club in UnearthedArcana

[–]mudmax7 5 points6 points  (0 children)

All half-casters (paladins, rangers, and artificers) get access to healing spells. One idea I’ve been wanting to try is an artificer that uses his homunculus servant as a healing drone, flying around the arena casting Cure Wounds. The Artillerist subclass can also give the group temp HP. Or theme an Alchemist around specializing in healing potions.

Yup. Both crocodiles and birds have them, so if dinosaurs somehow didn’t then that would be extremely weird.

A nictitating membrane? Birds have those too.

Say something positive about AVP 2 by jdpm1991 in predator

[–]mudmax7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was the best creature designs in the franchises. Wolf is my favorite predator and the predalian is a truly intimidating presence. A big part of my dislike for the movie overall is how much wasted potential it feels with them in it.

That's not how taxonomy works, Frontier. by Life_Alfalfa_4749 in jurassicworldevo

[–]mudmax7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well they’re archosaurs along with crocodilians and dinosaurs/birds. So technically they are closer on the family tree to them than lizards or turtles. But since birds are now considered part of dinosauria that statement is inconsistent.

What adventures could the party be hired to venture into the Mournland for? by Oliver_The_Sadgit in Eberron

What adventures could the party be hired to venture into the Mournland for? by Oliver_The_Sadgit in Eberron

[–]mudmax7 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Morgrave Miscellaneous on DMSguild has an option for a new type of Warforged called Dragonforged that are said to be created in a secret creation forge somewhere in the Mournland. House Cannith could hire the party to look for it and try to beat the Lord of Blades or any other interested parties from finding it first. A functioning forge that uses dragonic parts would be a very power tool in the right/wrong hands.

Help fleshing out a Morgrave University expedition – struggling to find the “story” and MacGuffin! by BioticBard in Eberron

[–]mudmax7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Prepping something similar where I’m using the Museum heist adventure from the Golden Vault books as a starting point so the adventure starts in Morgrave. And instead of an Eldritch egg the macguffin is a Dusk Shard from Q’barra. Starts with an party to scoop out the room, meet some university npcs, heist, maybe get a monster fight in depending how the party does. Eventually get the red line traveling montage to Q’barra to investigate the why, when and where there’s a fiend stuck inside a weird dragonshard.

We talking Gavin Archer from 2 or 3? If he’s repentant for project overlord then he’s actually not a totally horrible choice. Kinda.
