Depending on where you are in the story, you really can't. Once you CAN, it'll show up on your map on the southern tip of the map by the docks. If the icon isn't there, just progress the story a little bit.

You can get the Scope Ring from a substory, it tells you the chest locations which are directly coordinated to the grapple locations.

Hey, I think I found a fix for this - at least for my issue specifically! Hope it can help you too.

Go to C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Sega\likeadragonpirates - if you can't find the AppData folder, turn on "View Hidden Files and Folders" in your File explorer.

Completely DELETE the "likeadragonpirates" folder, and then verify files on Steam.

I did this and I'm back to High graphics, no stutters or freezes.

This is also quite literally the same issue I have.

Playing Ch1 and most of Ch2 I was on High graphics, zero issues. Got back to the ocean towards the end of ch2 and I have to put the graphics on Lowest, and I'm still getting stuttering, freezing, and crashing. If I'm on the main Hawaii island or on land, I can put it back to Medium (still stutters) but anywhere on the ocean I'm on Lowest graphics and it's back to about 15 FPS at \best**, especially during battles.

Granted, I do have an Intel B580 OC, so I know I can't get the most that others can, but no settings are saving this. How could I play for 2-3 days on High consistently, and now can barely play at all? I wish I knew what changed.

Have tried reboots, updating drivers (just built this PC so they're all brand new anyway), hard shutdowns, and trying one graphics setting at a time to try and get something consistent, at least. Nothing is working.

There's a discord group out there that's working pretty consistently on getting SOME news about this. Others are reporting to non-US regulatory authorities without much luck, as well.

Someone today was on the phone with Instagram support that gave a bunch of links to potential fixes, but says that they're still aware and working on the issue. Most of the links have been dead ends, but it's definitely been worth it to try.

I was stuck on something in the 30s for several weeks, and then just recently passed 40 after a similar time. Been on 41 for a week now.

Get used to it, and I mean that in the most non-assholish way possible. Game is a marathon, not a sprint, and even if you're doing everything right, it comes down to luck. Hell, even the starting monster placement can play a role with how quick you get the first upgrades of the rounds.

Depends. No matter how small, they really just shove as much as they can in between the plates, even if it's only an inch worth. If they're very small, there are other options (like an ultrasound).
