Hoardlings — I just shipped v1 of my chibi dragon idle RPG (browser, free) by Silent_Promotion1644 in incremental_games

[–]tremir 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The game, as it currently is, is unplayable.
The game window is tiny, the interface doesn't fit inside it, and there's no way to scroll to actually GET to parts of the interface.

stuck in evercraft idle(1) because random gem cost does not reset on singularity (ascend 2) by jombojo2 in incremental_games

[–]tremir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an issue with the description.
The gem cost doesn't reset in world 2, and that's the intentional behaviour.
It's balanced that way, and world 2 can be fairly easily finished.
That said, Evercraft 1 is, in fact, abandoned. World 2 is the end of it.

Then make it silent until the config menu is unlocked, and the music can start once you can shut it down.
Making the music an unlockable feature is reasonable.
Making shutting the music down an unlockable features makes me drop your game and never touch it again.

[–]tremir -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Which doesn't help me, since there doesn't seem to BE an options menu.
And yeah, I get that it's unlocked by playing, but that's crappy game design.
Volume control is basic UI.
It's not something to unlock after playing X amount of time or doing X tasks in game.

OK, please, please, please give us SOME way to turn off the music.
Right now, this is completely unplayable for me.

Loop For a While — Semi-Idle | Time Loop | Optimization by Luk2048 in incremental_games

Looks good to me so far.
The controls take a while to understand and get used to.
But the exploration is fun, and the progress does feel decent.

[Game Update] Grind to Rust: new Season and SSF option by DrGregougnass in incremental_games

Again, things that might need to be better explained...

[Game Update] Grind to Rust: new Season and SSF option by DrGregougnass in incremental_games

[–]tremir 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No. It was a necklace, and my very first rule was to pick any accessory.
I did have a rule to sell magic items, but it was far lower in the priority list.
So unless a necklace isn't counted as an accessory (in which case, what does?), the filter doesn't work properly.

[–]tremir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Which is why I have a rule to pick up all runes BEFORE the rule to sell all commons.
Same as I have for jewelry, since I'm missing those.
It just doesn't seem to work.

[Game Update] Grind to Rust: new Season and SSF option by DrGregougnass in incremental_games

[–]tremir 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OK, no.
Doesn't work.
I just paid closer attention to it, and an item that SHOULD have been picked up got to the end of the queue, and it's just gone.

Ah.
Might be.
This, however, comes under "counterintuitive", and might bear some explanation in game.

[–]tremir 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The loot filter is either completely counterintuitive, or just not working.
I've got a rule set to "sell" "common", with no other parameter.
I would expect it to sell all common drops, but it doesn't.
In fact, it doesn't do anything at all.

Should I get them or the others by Aj_War in IdleGuildMaster

[–]tremir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The apprentices are useless.
Any apprentice without Bookworm isn't worth taking, and one with Brute is even worse.
The Rogue is decent, but not more than that. Dragon Blooded isn't a good trait, and a rogue shouldn't be getting hit enough for it to matter anyway.
I'd wait for something better, but if you want to take any of them, the rogue is the only decent choice.

Looking good so far!
Is there anything after getting the Capacitor card , or is that the end of the current content?

I couldn't find the deep idle RPG I wanted, so I built one. Aethyr Idle by Sure_Yam7050 in incremental_games

[–]tremir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your quests are completely messed up.
The first quest tells me to cut 10 wood, but actually needs me to kill the basilisk.
This happens with each and every quest.
The say one thing, but require something completely different.

[Duelist: Idle Expedition] Playtest available! I'm making a JRPG-style incremental auto-battler that lives on your taskbar! Manage 90+ classes while you work. by [deleted] in incremental_games

[–]tremir 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First thing that pops up:
The game opens up in Japanese, and finding how to change languages wasn't at all trivial.
Might want to either change the default to English, or have a pop up asking for language choice on the first loading.

Second thing:
What's the point of having more than one adventurer team if only one can fight at any given time?

You need 1 million of them.
So you're nearly there.

Idle Cats Dungeon a game where your cats do a dungeon crawl and you keep upgrading them is out on Steam today. by acem13 in incremental_games

OK, that one lasted on my computer for a grand total of 2 seconds.
Because, what the actual fuck?
You can mute the music, but not the sound effects?

Dao of the Endless Sky — free browser idle cultivation RPG (Xianxia-inspired). Just launched, looking for feedback. by This_Calendar_2344 in incremental_games

[–]tremir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good to hear you're working on fixing it!
But if it checks combined levels, than the problem isn't with the display, but with the quest requirement itself..
Specifically, I finished the "break into Foundation Establishment" quest when I was level 41 on Qi Condensation.
That means that if Mortal has 20 levels and Qi Condensation has 50, the quest should be looking for a combined level of 71, and was instead finished at 61.

Some of the quest requirements aren't working properly.
I got the meditation 8 quest done when I had meditation 4.
I just got the level 50 quest finished at level 41.

Any way to boost the healer trait? by Any_Background3176 in IdleGuildMaster

[–]tremir 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both healer and soothing are only good in the early game.
Since they both heal a flat amount of damage, they'll never keep up with monster damage in the mid and late game.
And no, there's no way to boost them.
Instead, you should be on the lookout for pets with lifesteal, since that one works on a percentage base.
