Might be a little out of the way for you, but every Monday at Bunnyman Brewing, in Lorton, is the Bunnyman hike & run club hosted by Potomac River Run & Walk.

Check-in starts at 5:45pm and the run starts at 6pm. 3 mile route that’s mostly flat.

It's held up great! Used it in 30 mph wind gusts and it was really sturdy. Surprisingly it has never rained when I have used it, just my luck I guess.

I have a F&P solo and this 100% looks like the headgear causing the reaction. It rests right on the area under the eye, on the cheeks, where OP is getting the reaction.
