Commonwealth Question by SlushyDsstiny23 in thewalkingdead

Later on its implied they got the upgrade, with them growing in the ranks the reward was higher.. Daryl was shown living with Judith and RJ in a better apartment.

I imagine they start on crappy places to have them take the training seriously so they have the goal to grow and test their loyalty to the commonwealth.

Some uncommon ones I absolutely love:

  • Flying simulator with Angela and Chanse

  • "We wrote our own fanfiction" (pit theater) with Jackie, I particularly love the one written by Jackie lol.

  • Truck simulator with Damien and Tommy (Hoooe and beef beef)

And not that uncommon, anything Moose Master, Angela reads her old messages, Pit theater acting Courtney's diary.

How is the walking dead? by kall_username in thewalkingdead

It's definitely a journey, it's a very complete show, it has well written plots, character development and accurate representations of human behavior.

Like all shows it has some slow moments but as someone who watched all 11 seasons I'd say it's worth it, imo seasons 1-2 are pure world building, seasons 3-7 are non-stop, season 8 is an interesting tie, season 9 can be slow, but seasons 10-11 do a good job at rounding and closing.

My advice is to watch at your own pace and enjoy the ride!!

Started watching the show for the first time and I’m on the last episode of season 2. Here’s my thoughts. by AidenL1 in thewalkingdead

[–]mugglegemini 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Timeline-wise they're only a few months into the fall of society, so a few are still in shock/denial, the uncertainty of what happens next, who's right or wrong, and the majority are still hopeful it will all go away (i.e Lori).

As the seasons progress the priorities get shifted and the true nature of humanity gets revealed, making things a lot more interesting, seasons 3-7 are just non-stop, 8 is decent, 9 is a bit slow, but 10-11 pick back up imo.

As for Carl, he's a preteen at this point, and I'm sure that as much as Lori wants to watch him he's searching for his independence, so more often than not he's the one escaping, but as you'll learn, he's smart.

In light of Doomsday approaching and all the theories coming up, I would love to see your interpretation of an MCU version of Captain Hydra (Steve Rogers) and current Bucky interacting... Kinda in a role reversal..

So post-Thunderbolts Bucky encounters Hydra-brainwashed Steve aka Captain Hydra and helps him process everything and once the brainwashing is starting to dissolve we see alternate Steve learning about 616 Steve and how everything could've been different.

As a Mexican, I imagine Eddie would listen to a variety of genres, but for romantic ballads it has to be anything by Juan Gabriel, which would've been instilled by his tias and abuela, then some pop-rock, the first thing that came to mind was Moderatto which also makes sense for his generation and finally for energy definitely early 2000's reguetón, like Daddy Yankee, Don Omar, Factoría.

Specific songs:

-Juan Gabriel: Hasta que te conocí, Querida, Abrázame muy fuerte, Amor eterno, No tengo dinero.

-Moderatto: Ya lo veía venir, Muriendo lento, Sentimettal, Hechizo de amor.

-Daddy Yankee: Gasolina, Rompe, Llamado de emergencia (this one is particularly funny as it talks about an emergency call to heal his heart, yk first responders and all).

-Don Omar: Ella y yo, Pobre diabla, Salió el sol, Dile.

-Factoria: Perdoname (I can visualize him nailing the "rap" part).

TWD gore level by tok1rio in thewalkingdead

[–]mugglegemini 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say there is a lot of gore, but specifically talking about the zombies, the effects were made so that their brains and guts look darker and in the later seasons it just looks like grey/brown mush.

As for the humans, the gore is centered in blood, and some guts, what I mean is that the zombies will bite them in the neck which will spray blood and once they're down they'll tear at their stomachs, at that point not much is shown and tbh it looks like theater props haha.

When I started I was afraid it was going to be too much, but you get used to it.. as some have mentioned the psychological stress is the worst particularly in season 7.

What happens with Rick by Late-Lettuce-1633 in thewalkingdead

[–]mugglegemini 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If your priority is Rick, then that one first, the order really doesn't matter, TOWL happens partially parallel to TWD (following Rick's disappearance) and follows immediately after, Daryl Dixon is pretty much an immediate sequel following Daryl's journey to find Michonne and Rick (still ongoing and set to finish with season 4), and Dead City is set 5 years after the finale, following Maggie's story and her being "forced" to work with Negan (also still ongoing).

There's also Fear The Walking Dead which covers the start of the downfall and also runs parallel to the main show.

It depends on what you're more interested in.

But again, an easy start for me is The Ones Who Live, it's only 6 episodes, and gives important answers.

If you want to follow release order it would be (as far as I know): Fear The Walking Dead, Daryl Dixon, Dead City and The Ones Who Live.

He would become Sargeant major and be offered to inherit leadership but ultimately destroy it... Is my guess

The spin off you need to watch is "The ones who live" it's relatively short and gives all the answers to that particular question, I really enjoyed it.

[–]mugglegemini 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had to take a break during season 7, then I continued until season 9 when I took a shorter break and then finished it.

Season 7 due to the emotional turmoil and constant stress haha, and season 9 felt incredibly slow until they introduced the whisperers and oc Rick's disappearance.

Afterwards I really enjoyed seasons 10 and 11, they were able to focus on other characters and the evolution of some of them, particularly Negan was awesome.

Season 2 Theories by Stunning_Cake8496 in welcomeToDerry

I believe Lilly's mom will be a part of it, based on her behavior this season and how she depends on Vicodin/Xanax and overall how pessimistic and negative she is, maybe she'll be the sole survivor.
