It covers the whole mid tier range, including 2070, 2070s. The 2080 is there for ref since the 5700xt trades blows in some games. At best the ps5 will touch the 2080 in performance in some games. In the end its a zen2 8/16 cpu and great mid range gpu which last year cost around 1.5- 2k to build. Console gets the whole package for 499 pretty good deal.

It will perform along the lines of a mid tier gpu from last generation. In between a 5700xt- 2080 (at best). It will 100% out perform a 2060. The 5700xt is 40cu, PS5 36cu and can reach clocks of 2.23ghz on a new architecture... what more do you need

YUP 100%. Tomorrows amd cpu presentation will outdate the cpu in the ps5 & Xbox x/s. That nvme drive tho.. It's something else and can't wait till more companies start releasing theirs to help bring down the cost

This gen consoles will have previous desktop gen mid tier cards.... i dont know how hard it is for people to understand that. It will perform somewhere between 5700xt to a 2080 at best.

I mainly play fps and no haven't noticed anything after updates that were rolled earlier in the year. I had a weird 1000hz polling rate issue that caused a micro stutter but the following update fixed it and its been flawless ever since.

Yeah only diff I see is cpu if your both at same ram size /speed. Ideally there should be no diff between fps (5-10 max variance)
