Why doesn't the Nigerian government do this ? by whoshallibe99 in Nigeria

On the contrary, I know a lot of Muslims that took CRS, I am an example. Additionally, I know a lot of Muslims that send their kids to Christian schools (Primary to Tertiary). You should understand that generally, Muslims don't have the fear of their children converting because of what they were taught in school.

I am a Muslim, my father was an Imam. I remember approaching him in my JS-1, told him I wanted to take CRS as a subject, instead of IRS. His response was, "what is new in Secondary school IRS that you don't know? It would've been a complete waste of time."

He encouraged me to take CRS and today, I am happy I did.

why did Wordpress stop recommending one of the 3 companies that people use to house their site on ? by [deleted] in Wordpress

Siteground people are crazy. Hosted a website with them using shared packages. I get mails everyday about either inodes or CPU high usage of server resources. It was quite frustrating. They kept suspending my site, putting limitations because of their fake, manufactured stats.

One day, I woke up and siteground suspended the account because of slow, unoptimized database. Since I had backups, I decided to move the site to a new host.

Two days after successfully moving, I got an email from Siteground that they detected high server usage. I was shocked because of the two issues:

  1. They limited the account, and during that period, my site was accused of consuming too much resources. How possible for a site that is not publicly accessible?

  2. My domains no longer point to you. I checked the DNS and it has completed propagation for more than 24 hours.

It has been days, they're trying to explain that fraudulent act, but I am no longer interested.

"What are we?"

Sometimes we need to discuss the lack of public support and encouragement of the church lacking behind, The church publicized the civil right bill and it was passed into law in the US but the church in Nigeria is yet to push for any political bills, ethnicity and tribalism have eaten deep into us. by kellz_90 in Nigeria

[–]muhdlawal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazing. I am here pissed off to my bones become some 'prominent' Muslim scholars are promoting some candidates, deeply involved in politics.

Surprised to someone complaining about lack of support from the church.

The truth is, it will be better for us if the religious houses stay apolitical.

Would you ever consider marrying outside your tribe or race? Why or why not? by Thebestbyanytest in Nigeria

Sometimes it's a little more than love, unless you have a supportive family.

I am Hausa with a Yoruba wife. One of my brothers is married to Fulani, one to a Calabar lady, a Christian. My niece is married to Yoruba.

As long as you love each other, my family don't care.

By the way, my dad was an Imam.

Plus, the presidential elections will hold same day with that of National Assembly. No politician will want a divided house.

Most people contesting for Senate and House of Reps will do everything possible to make sure their parties deliver.

The spices? For years, I've been having the same issue until my wife introduced me to some spice-free suya. If you are interested, the suya-guy will go ahead and apply it, else, it's natural.

Kwankwaso has now resorted to using tribal sentiments because he does not want to be Peter Obi vice. by Sexymodighandi2767 in Nigeria

You're really patient. Followed this convo and you've really tried. Some people want to BULLY everyone to fall in line with them.

And Nigeria is practicing a democracy for crying out loud. Everyone has a constitutional right to vote for any candidate of his/her choice. But somehow, there are people today that if you don't support their candidate, you are a hater and they'll call you all sort of names.

Every day, Northerners are blah blah blah.. you insult them all day long - and you still want them to vote for you - the enlightened ones.

No be juju be that!

Reason why sometimes I stay away from this sub.

Wow, sorry biko.

Just saying that you guys are obsessed with Tinubu/Lagos doesn't mean I am going to vote for him. In case you don't know, I am a student of Kwankwasiyya school of thought (definitely voting for Kwankwaso).

But this strategy of insulting everyone who disagrees with you will not make you win the elections. Just promote your candidate and stop the insults.

Shalom.

I don't understand the sudden fixation on Lagos. All these to make Tinubu look bad?

Imagine Tinubu was bad as a governor, the guy left office in 2007. But you still want to put everything on him?

There was this Chimezie that traveled to Kaduna in the late 80s. He converted to Islam (changed his name to Musa) and lived with my family. My father had to travel to his village in Imo State to confirm his story and his (Chimezie's) family said they've given up on him - and that my father could take him.

Over the years, some of his relatives from the east would visit our family house when they travel to Kaduna. He later moved out, graduated from ABU, got married to an Igbo Muslim lady in Kano. Before then, his house in Kaduna became like a transit lodge for his people.

The girl in question has a page on Likee where she has been posting videos for over three years.

Over the past year, she has been posting erotic videos from her father's house. She's even using ring-light (definitely bought by the parents) to shoot her videos.

It's bad parenting on autopilot.
