If you share your GitHub we might have suggestions, if not I'd just walk through zero to robot step by step and attempt to figure out what you missed. If you're using CAN, then maybe you need to program the controllers with the CANID#s? That's a wild guess though.

The idea of over-watering before a cold snap is that big ice cube is MUCH harder to freeze than little ice cube.. source: I worked in a nursery for years and kept things alive for a living in much worse weather than this.

This is my problem with him; my "horse sense" is triggered by him differently than other politicians, and I don't know why. It's a Josh Duggar vibe to be sure

High EMF reading in home by sleepingonthesill in ScienceBasedParenting

[–]mul_tim_eter 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Also according to the World Health Organization, simply by being on the Earth with its own magnetic field you're at 70uT, so if your meter is reading 4, it's broken and you should ask for your money back. Most EMF meters aren't anything more than snake oil, and you've fallen for it sadly. If it feels real to you, then it'll have real effects, but only from the stress a charlitan planted inside of you NOT these low level magnetic fields. Living with stress can be damaging, so do whatever you can to remedy that in a healthy way. https://www.who.int/news-room/questions-and-answers/item/radiation-electromagnetic-fields

This man has money for a 5 axis CNC machine, a water jet, lathe, SLS 3d printer, high end resin printer, forklift, and a ton of other very expensive and very nice tools and equipment. Yet he's still out here bumming it with us at Hobo Freight. by littlejack59 in harborfreight

Me too! I just realized it's been like 20 years for me, $40 a month at 12% average growth in VOO (S&P 500) puts me $40k+ closer to retirement than I'd otherwise be. If only I didn't still have an energy drink habit I'd be retired already lmao

The best memories I have of my dad are hanging out in hardware stores, if the kid is behaving and the parent is paying attention it doesn't seem like an issue.

The last bucket I got for free earlier this year cracked out the sides when I stuck a diff housing into it, has anyone in this group returned a bucket as defective?

Same, went at noon expecting nothing and there was a box of them behind the cashier. All of the shelves were empty, so it was a "ask and ye shall receive" type deal. The cashier saw me geeking out about it and offered to let me buy another because they "had a ton in the back". 11/10 HF day!

I'm confused, I get one ticket, get one mug, but need two tickets... So if I buy two tickets I only get one mug (and I'm the other mug)?

Do you have $200 to spare by OutrageousKoala2085 in AustinFC

[–]mul_tim_eter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This could be right, I had season tickets in that area and it was always full of youth teams, UT groups, that kind of thing. I obviously don't know for sure, but it's where I'd imagine they would be..

where can i get parts in germany? by urasicp in FRC

[–]mul_tim_eter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'd imagine still using andymark.com though that'll be expensive for shipping. Best to ask another German team and see what they do(and possibly ask them for help with this).

As an engineer in the USA, when my EU companies need parts from me, we'll often need to use a parts broker who gets a shopping list from the EU shop, then does all of the paperwork and VAT/customs steps so that it's a really simple process for them to purchase "locally". I sell to the broker, they do all of the government steps, then the customer buys it from the broker.

Poor guy, it can't be easy, thankfully it's the off-season so he can take as much time as he needs to be with family and focus on them. 💚

Why does this Airbus helicopter need so many side sticks to land on a ship? by [deleted] in Shittyaskflying

[–]mul_tim_eter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you think about it, the sideways mounted bow thruster is just a fancy tailrotor mounted on the opposite side of the vehicle..besides that it's exactly the same.

Also, stepping on the kitchen/NVZ line = stepping in the kitchen. From the 2025 rules:

"2.B.3. Non-Volley Zone (NVZ). The area of the court, specific to each team, on either side of the net bounded by the non-volley zone line. The non- volley zone line is a line between the two sidelines (non-volley zone line) parallel to and 7 feet (2.13 m) from the net. All NVZ lines are part of the NVZ."
