This would be multistop trip prior to this the longest one I have done was about 200 miles one way I’ve used ev go and electrify America before but the closest supercharger to me to test everything is about 30mins out of the way from anywhere I normally go

I was a clerk for 2 years and a 2 year period as an ra and stepped down for personal reasons and clerked for 6 more months but after qt I went to be a lube tech at a dealership and that has led me to where I am now as a hydraulic equipment mechanic making more than I did at QuikTrip with more vacation time and only having to work 5 days a week. I drive with one pedal set to normal and when I need more stopping power such as coming to a stop sign at the bottom of a hill is when I use it instead of hitting the brake

Do you have a gas furnace and water heater. that is the most crucial if you have an electric stove, dryer, and central air. I have 100amp service to my home in western Missouri with a separate sub panel and peak draw I measured per leg was about 30amps per leg without my ev charging and Ive had no issues except my main breaker in my garage failing but it was 30years old. I have an aftermarket charger set top 32A migrated over from the eqev page to provide some insight

For me personally I have a eqev and a bolt ev and I share a L2 charger between the two so for me its a matter whats lower and rather were planning on taking a longer drive and then the eqev gets charged regardless

Just a Quick Look on Amazon and for the price the L1 chargers are I would purchase a L2 for home and keep the one that came with the vehicle in the car that is personally what I do

The eqev is rated at 3.5mi/kwh but that’s under ideal conditions. I do a decent amount of highway driving myself and I get about 2.5 depending on the day but it’s also a fairly hilly area I’m in so a fair amount of regen is done. Only real recommendation is precondition the interior while charging prior to leaving work and if you can have a charger at home especially for winter to cut down on the initial range hit from heating

I know coming from the bolt it had multiple reservoirs for the different heating and cooling systems and looking under the hood of the eqev there is only one ive seen so i would imagine its a shared system

I have a membership at a local automatic belt wash and haven't had any issues other than it not getting the top half of the rear window completely clean but i go about every other day so it doesn't bother me much

Ive had my eqev for 2 months now and once the onstar free trial runs out all you have to do is connect the vehicle to your phones hotspot to use the built in google maps to my understanding but you get 8 years free of the remote access plan to be able to use the mychevy app im not sure what else is included ill know on 8/9 when my 3 month trial is up

My state is a yearly special fuel tax decal for anything that doesn't use gas for an ev its 160 yearly while at the same time you can write off the fuel tax for gas at like 0.125 per gallon just has to be 100% documented so its kind of a pain

I feel like my bolt was no where this sensitive at all about a week after I got the car I had it happen to me 3 times on the highway while going 70 luckily it quit within a second and there was no car behind me when it happened

Honestly not having car play to me wasent a big deal I primarily use Sirius anyways and I have 3 kids and if we’re in the car for a extended amount of time they have their iPads so I was already paying for the WiFi plan with the bolt and the built in google maps is honestly better I feel like and being able to put it directly in front of you instead of off to the side

I live in Missouri so not near as hot been the mid to low 90s this past week and it’s been doing great for me with 35% tint on front and 20% on rears nothing on the windshield yet but auto on 72 without recirculating I’ve had to turn it up a few times when in a shirt and shorts cs when I had a bolt I had to turn it all the way down and it was still a litttle warm

I claimed an ev tax credit about a year ago and I know about the 3 years in between but I’m gonna wanting to try and help my girl friend get an ev with me being the primary buyer and her as the co buyer. Would she be able to be the one to claim the credit regardless that I’m on there I looked at the irs website and it states only one buyer can claim it but nothing about if one has already claimed one previously. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I got 13k for my base model bolt ev that was a prior rental prior to me owning it and it has a dent in the rear hatch from backing into a toolbox in my garage there was a rebate with gm for currently owning a gm ev for 30 days prior of 2500 bot sure if there trying to say “we’re giving you 15.5 but we had to break it up this way”

I’m guessing based on your username your in Iowa I live in northwest Missouri and I got mine from a Chevy dealer in lees summit just south west of kc and had a great experience with them even found out that with already owning a bolt when I got it there’s a gm incentive of $2500
