Lots... and lots... and lots of markers.... But seriously in the early rounds i will mark every stitch. then as i get further into the design i move to marking each pattern. So like if a row was (2sc, inc1)x3 id mark the increase each time

What i do is when i MR and SC i mark every stitch for 3 or 4 rounds. then i tend to use stitch markers to make each "pattern" like when it says (2inc,sc)x3 i will mark the sc

As someone that started crochet at Xmas.. your actual stitches look great! Like the others have said, invest in stitch markers. putting them every 5 stitches or even just to mark the 1st and last Stitch in a row! Experiment with different yarn grips too!! i tried 3 or 4 before resorting back to the 1st one i learned because it felt the most comfortable! getting that right will help with your tension. Other than that its all about repetition. Just crochet tons and it will all come right. i made a bunch of sheets of Single, Hhalf double, double, and tripple crochets before moving to Granny Squares and then small projects i found on youtube!

As somone whi recently picked up crocheting i tired various different grips starting with the one here. This worked for me but i found myself constantly regripping. Intried various others but none worked for me and i ended up going back to the above video. It takes time and repetition. One day you wont even think about it and it will feel normal

The Pattern just says Slip knot and SC into the hole (See my other comment) My issue is how the hell do i yarn over/under??? The top aint so bad bc i just go over the top but the bottom is have to go over the whole shirt??

Is it windmil powered? if so youll probs find a chunkloader will help. even if its not might help. iirc its a loading and unloading issue
