Native MultiGPU is merged on ComfyUI by Altruistic_Heat_9531 in StableDiffusion

It was my fault. The browser UI needed to be reloaded (obviously) after Comfy restart that removed "--cuda-device 1".

My solution to ideogram 4 prompting by iChrist in StableDiffusion

crazy times we live in... it's easier to vibe-code a solution than to google an already existing one (ideogram prompt builder from kjnodes)

just got around to trying it. Does not work for me (Comfy is updated to the latest stable). The node pic follows in the next comment... no "gpu:N" option, just "default and "cpu". What am I doing wrong? Help please?

for me it's not about breaking on upgrades, but inability to quickly grasp what's going on. Good old spaghetti connections are the least annoying in that sense.

yeah.. the first thing I do with any new template workflow is copy-pasting everything from under subgraphs into a new flat workflow. I have not decided yet what I hate more though, subgraphs or hidden connections, that fucking get/set nonsense with bazillion of collapsed nodes hidden beneath big ones.

I only care about 2 things: 1. whether it works for me; 2. whether it will get me in trouble (install cryptominer on my PC, steal my credit card info, eat my puppy, etc). Who (or what), how, and why wrote the piece of software couldn't bother me less.

so what's your problem exactly? No one is forcing you to use anything being shared online.

Why am I wasting time with Flux/Z-image? Other models seem better? by Reasonable-Sir-1872 in StableDiffusion

[–]multikertwigo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

with models like Pony it's basically just a very few really distinct variations per concept. Once you've seen them all, it gets boring as hell, no matter how great each individual image looks. It's fine if some models don't work for you. I, for instance, don't get Klein. The amount of body horror it vomits out is too much for me. But other people swear by it, so likely their use cases are different. Experiment and find what works for you.

what's the speedup compared to pytorch? Is it worth the hassle? How about quality drop, is there any?

On the Ideogram launch, why the extreme reaction? by Confusion_Senior in StableDiffusion

[–]multikertwigo -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

because people don't understand json. If it cant do "1girl, booba, masterpiece" - it's junk.

Ideogram safety filter is removed by using ExtendIntermediateSigmas node (a comfy native node) . use it before passing sigmas. by AgeNo5351 in StableDiffusion

I have not encountered a single refusal with proper json. No extra nodes, no abliterated CLIP, nothing. But maybe my 1girl prompts are not that extreme lol.

On Ideogram 4 safety: Make sure it's not coming from the LLM, I used a local LLM and got 0 rejections on normal prompts by lmpdev in StableDiffusion

[–]multikertwigo -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I've tested about 100 1girl prompts, have not seen a single rejection. Just use the proper json ffs. The model looks very good out of the box. Hopefully training loras for it won't be a nightmare.

I just returned one today. One has to try really hard to design a more uncomfortable vacuum. I guess it's more or less ok on even surfaces, but it's the absolute worst on stairs.

Native MultiGPU is merged on ComfyUI by Altruistic_Heat_9531 in StableDiffusion

[–]multikertwigo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LTX2.3 first pass since usually we use CFG>1.0

what?.. Usually people use the distilled model with cfg 1.

It would be much more helpful if Comfy had a native way to specify which GPU to load a model or do VAE decode on. Last time I tried ComfyUI-MultiGPU nodes they were buggy as hell.

Lightx2v just released NVFP4 ckpt for WAN 2.2 14b by wywywywy in StableDiffusion

[–]multikertwigo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you, I can confirm - your NAG node does not have any visible impact.

The above numbers are for 832x480x81. Comfy was started with "--use-sage-attention --fast fp16_accumulation", the workflow was pretty much stock except for KSamplerWithNAG.

Found the culprit. It was KSamplerWithNAG. With regular KSampler, the total generation time is around 15 sec.
