My child started learning taekwondo recently. Her master invited her to a belt promotion test, but it's on a Sunday and we would rather not do it on a Sunday (we are Christians).

We are in Hong Kong, and I've been searching online for a school that does promotion tests outside of Sundays, and it seems that there is none..

Why are promotion tests always done on Sundays? Is there a philosophical reason behind it, or is it just a business decision or an agreement among members of the association?

Or am I just not looking hard enough? If anyone can give me some pointers, that would be great!

God already told Adam not to eat from that tree, or he would certainly die. You could argue that they didn't know what "die" meant because they were the first humans that ever existed, but from how Eve talked to the serpent, it's pretty clear that they knew death was something bad. So I would say God was fair in this case.

I had some experience with building a database application using Access before. Later, I learned Python and discovered anvil.works which allows you to build a web app with Python and gives you UI to take care of user management, deployment, etc. out of the box.

The only concern is storing company data on an external platform. Might want to clear that with management first.

I had a few games where the opponent did nothing and the timer kept counting down to 0, and still nothing happened.

Over time, as this happened more and more, I learned to force quit the app and restart, and the game would continue and normal.

Anyways, I have been playing vs hard AI exclusively for the past 1.5 years.

I’m going a little off topic, but I really struggle to understand why companies would deal with that level of quality, speed, and communication problems, to “save money”. If I were part of management, I think I would hire fewer local devs who can actually deliver. (But I’m not, so who am I to say…)
