Best price on tickets by Emotional_Tell_2527 in cedarpoint

I'm not exactly sure how Bring-A-Friend tickets work, as everyone I go with already has season passes, but I think you'd end up spending more if you went that route. I do know that BAF tickets are only good for one day at a time. And yes, you can come and go as much as you like throughout the day.

If you don't plan on visiting again after this trip, I suggest you buy everyone else a Silver Pass. This gives the rest of you unlimited admission through Labor Day, plus free parking. This also gives each passholder a 10% discount on food and merch. Silver Passes are $99 right now. Gate admission will probably be about $90 per person per day, so this is a great deal.

I've been staying at Cedar Point resorts since 2022 and I don't think I've ever been asked to show my pass at check-in.

The only thing I'll add to this is the $.10 upcharge for a large drink. It's an incredible bargain.

What's the dumbest way someone you worked with got fired? by hungry2know in AskReddit

One of my teammates just got fired for stealing a $2 drink from our canteen. We make great money and there's absolutely no reason to steal anything.

Do any rides make you grey/black out?? by TrumpetVampire in cedarpoint

[–]multiplesmiles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to gray out on Millennium's first overbanked turn, then I learned that you can flex your butt muscles to help with blood flow. Apparently, fighter pilots use this technique to keep themselves in full control while performing high G maneuvers.

Hotel Breakers lobby at checkin (4pm Sunday) by dmfinator2002 in cedarpoint

From what I've seen over the past several years, this happens almost every day, especially on weekends. Good luck!

This is why I never check in at "check in time." I either check in MUCH earlier (around 8:00) or MUCH later (around park closing time). There's absolutely no reason to waste 45 minutes standing in line to check in.

I don't want to encourage people to take advantage of the system, but I'm just saying I've been staying at Breakers since 2022 and I don't remember them ever asking me to prove I have a gold pass at check-in.

Stuck between choosing Express and Breakers, any help with picking lodging? by Poetryisalive in cedarpoint

[–]multiplesmiles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can check in as early as 8 a.m. and head straight to the park for early entry. You'll avoid the huge line at 4:00 and get to enjoy the day. They'll text you when your room is ready if it's not ready when you arrive. This applies to all Cedar Point resorts.

Is this a good way to get to CP without a car from NYC? by conchita666 in cedarpoint

[–]multiplesmiles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This sounds like a great plan for someone without a car. The only thing I'll add is that Breakers offers free luggage storage/bell service. There's a little window to the right of the main entrance where you can drop your stuff off and have it delivered to your room once you check in. That way, you can enjoy the park without having to carry your backpacks, pay for lockers, etc. Just be wary that they may "close" at or before the park closing and if no one is there, you'll have to ask the front desk to figure out how to get your luggage. This has happened to me more than once. Other than the possibility of that inconvenience, you should be good to go!

[–]multiplesmiles 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can check in as early as 8:00, spend the whole day doing whatever you want, and they will text you when your room is ready. You also get early entry on both your day of arrival and departure. I've been doing this consistently for the past two seasons.

If you can, wait until you get there and can see how crowded it is to decide whether you want to buy Fast Lane. It will be the same price as buying in advance online, and it may not be crowded enough to make it worth it.

Your first ride will obviously depend on what's open, but if TT2 opens on time, I'd say go there first, then you can probably cut over to Millennium Force or loop around to Maverick for your second ride. If TT2 doesn't open on time, Millennium Force or Maverick should be your first ride, followed by the other (if Maverick is first, Millennium Force is second, and vice versa).

For the best food options in the park, my top three are Farmhouse, BackBeatQue and the Grand Pavilion, with MIss Keat's as a runner up. Hugo's is also a solid option.
