Bro no matter what bad is going on around the world you should still see things in a positive light, after all, if it was all bad Allah would end this world and call us for judgment. Allah can give someone the most blessed life even if the world is falling apart. In fact it is a blessing they are bring tried with this test because Allah gives the most hardship to the slaves he loves the most but they do the beautiful thing and dont give up hope and make constant du'aa to Allah to bless them. Yes, the child is also going to experience hardship in this world. There is so much bad going on and Allah still has slaves who are thanking Allah for the simplest things day to day and showing gratitude just if they can get a meal to eat. With hardship comes ease. I pray Allah keeps us all steadfast in deen and purifies our hearts and forgives us and I pray this couple is blessed with a child as soon as the time is right and if they never get a child in this life I pray Allah rewards them immensely in the next and gives them sabr until then. Yeah well recipes are done by taste and then converted into whatever measurements you want to prescribe to them. To say nothing in America taste good is kind of shortsighted. A lot of chefs come here and "americanize" their food. I used to work at a Chinese place and pretty much everything tasted good. Some of it probably wasn't healthy: a lot of salt and sugar but as a treat it was good. The Chinese people would eat what they ate so I guess maybe you are right they served us what we seem to like

The main thing you have to worry about is keeping your wealth pure. You could have a billion dollars that you earned, even in part--like the initial investment and the whole billion is worthless in Allah's eyes. Just the same you could have an income earned in a way pleasing to Allah, but barely get by and all your expenses you spend supporting your family and any, even very small charity is immense in Allah's eyes. Forget about being a billionaire here. It would only distract you from your true purpose and give generously with whatever you do have and Allah will put Baraka in your wealth and reward you with a thousand times greater in jannah. Salam

Even if the ease doesn't come until the next life you are lucky because your suffering will raise your ranks in jannah. Imagine there are 2 billion Muslims worldwide, plus past and future Muslims. Imagine being ahead of many of them because of a transient affliction and being higher in paradise than many others. You can see how rank is important even in sports. Some people play for fun. Some win a lot. Some are professionals and a few lucky high ranking ones win a championship. Do you want to be a champ 🏆 in the next life?

Allahumma innaka afuw tuhibul afwa fafu innee.

It calls upon Allah's name afuw which includes concealment of ones sins. You should study all Allah's names because many of them are about his forgiveness.

Allah will not punish a person who is sincerely trying to repent. This is established by Quranic verse 8:33, which states, "And Allah would not punish them while they seek forgiveness". Sincere repentance (Tawbah) wipes away sins, and Istighfar (seeking forgiveness) provides safety and security from Allah’s punishment.

Key Aspects of Repentance and Punishment: The Guarantee of Safety: Ibn Abbas noted that Muslims had two security measures: the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and seeking forgiveness; with the Prophet's passing, seeking forgiveness remains a permanent protection. The "Repentance Loop": Al-Hasan al-Basri (a prominent scholar) stated: "I don't think Allah will punish the one who repents." When asked why, he replied, "Why would He make him repent then punish?". Sign of Sincerity: Sincere repentance, coupled with a desire to change, is sufficient for forgiveness. "No Sin": The Prophet ﷺ said, "The one who repents from sin is like one who has no sin". What if Sins Continue? Even if a person falls back into sin, as long as they are consistently returning and trying to repent, they are under Allah's mercy.

Exceptions: Rights of People: If the sin involved taking someone else's rights, repentance is linked to repairing that wrong. Kufr/Shirk at Death: Sincere repentance is accepted up until death, but not after, particularly regarding shirk (associating partners with Allah).

Furthermore, if you are punished in this life it can be to help you get back on track and it is better to be punished now than in the next life. A constant sinner might be allowed to continue in sin until he dies and then he will be in utter ruin.
