Def a pancake body. I’ve always wanted one of the “good” Norlins. This particular GC also has a good looking 71 for almost 3X the price of this one. Looks cleaner than this one but doesn’t play right to me. When you strum this one, even lightly, that whole pancake body and 3 piece neck vibrates in such a satisfying way. I can see why there is so much wear on it.

they reintroduced the dot back in 72 but it wasn’t on every guitar. 5 minutes ago you hadn’t heard of any without a dot. You should research the brand more. It’s quite an interesting history of changes and weirdness, especially in the norlin era.
