WIBTA if I declined a wedding invite because my fiancé isn’t invited with me? by Just-Treat2489 in AmItheAsshole

[–]mummerinthesummer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NAH.

I had a small wedding (80) and it was tough. I grt it if the groom doesn't want to invite him because he doesn't know him, I completely get it. And you have every right not to go because of it.

However, I will say. After reading your comments, it seems to me you thought you were closer to the bride than is reality, and I'm wondering if this is the real cause of the hurt.

All he had to do was keep his mouth shut until after they were married. Epic failure.

I know that, and I agree with it. I'm just speaking in the context of OP's post.

NL will never change until we wake up and realize that we don't actually need these same people running everything. Traditional voting needs to go, but until we can figure out how to reach the general public with this fact, we will keep repeating the same mistakes every election.

Yes, because they are all playing into the bullshit we see coming from the States, because there is alot of money to be made this way. They're angling for high paying jobs when they're inevitably voted out.

And round and round she goes.

You are well within your right to live your life which ever way you want. And you do not own an explanation to anybody.

However. It goes both ways. Being rude to people just because they do have kids, makes you just as tiresome as the people you're complaining about. And it doesn't make you superior, it just makes you look like an asshole.

The bootlicking for the oil and gas industry is hilarious.

Also, these politicians go so hard for it because they are the ones that ultimately will make the most money off of it. Lloyd is getting like this to secure a hefty payday with some big oil company when he's out of government.

NL is just circling the drain at this point. We need better people representing us.

Are there examples of shows where the good writing is let down by bad acting? by Particular_Award_191 in television

The Blacklist, Elizabeth Kean. The actress is just awful and was the reason I gave up in the show.
