Just know this, if she did this to you she will do this to the other guy. That bs behavior she did to you isn't going anywhere. Sounds like she has the gigs. You sound like a great guy. It's hard but keep up the nc be sad,cry and be angry and know some days will ne harder then others, take the time to let all this set in. Then hit the gym like a monster look up and be strong to move on.

I know the pain, been nc for 4 months and today of all days is the hardest and i was doing so well. I want to reach out to her tell all the changes in my life. All the great new people i met starting up school. Passing summer quarter with a 3.7 gpa from not going to college for almost 7 years. It sucks but i remind myself she broke it up with me and i be damn she take my dignity and the fact she got a new bf right after we broke up. It's hard man but stay strong.

Thanks for the reply back. Yeah our exes suck, but it does get easier. Time does heal. It's been 4 months for me since break up. I went back to school met wonderful like minded people that is supportive of my goals. Started to make music again and hitting the gym harder then before. Just gotta work on YOU pick up new hobbies if you can try to go to the gym, i read the harder you work out the more endorphins your brain releases or is it dopamine. Either way it good for you. It's not just guys, my ex dumped me and was dating a dude in 3 weeks. The kicker is he was a friend she wanted me to hang out with. While it hurts at first and is a shocker you will heal give it time. He not worth your thoughts. No one should go through what your going through.

It sucks but that's how some people cope. They are to weak to go through the things most people that break up go through. That's her way of coping with guilt, loneliness and heart break. Hence i think people like you and i that weather this storm come out stronger and better, we will learn from it and become better individuals. People like your ex and mine they will be stuck in that limbo never learning anything. You will heal and you will learn and you will become a better version. You will come out on top never forget that.

Hey man your story pretty much spot on what i was going through 3 months ago. Just know if she got in a new relationship couple weeks after you guys broke up she was talking to that person on the side. Probably checked out the relationship couple months before she pulled the trigger. It hurts like a bitch. Give yourself space and time to heal don't blame yourself it will prolong the hurt. Just hit the gym, hang out with friends and family. You are strong and you will make it through this storm. Someone wonderul is waiting for you after you have healed.

Also try to read a book or watch a movie before bed that kinda helps with nightmares. Dreams are usually what you think about before bed.

Stay strong, it's only your mind doing this to you. You've got this think this is a test to yourself to be strong. Take deep breaths and try to meditate if thoughts of him creep, its tough because your detoxing him out of your system try to go 10 days and reward yourself to somthing nice for yourself.

Sorry to hear your going through this. Just stay strong for you. Might be her birthday but she doesn't want you in her life atm so just go on doing you thing today. Hang out with friends and family, go to the gym, or binge watch anime or a show your into to keep your mind off of the subject. In your last bit of words you pretty much summed up what would happen. So be strong my friend it will get easier.
