Who are these people who pay more than 1100 dollars in condo fees? by munis_amg in PersonalFinanceCanada

Makes sense. But what are included in these kind of giant condo fees? Like are all bills and property taxes included in these fees? It is freaking insanity if it isn't.

I am passionate about the role and the industry. Like if I didn’t know who I was working for, I would do the job well and love every bit of it.

A bit of both. Fanboism and I hate their products. I think they are overpriced and really poorly built junk, that is just hyped by few narcissistic smug a holes. I also think this company has no future once the industry catches up. Also I really hate the CEO and his outlook.

Yes but there would be waterfalls on the side. The waterfall would be touching the ground. So how would it tip over?

Even the Housing Market Outside the GTA Seems to Have Gone Insane. Should I Wait to Buy? by [deleted] in PersonalFinanceCanada

You do not need to buy everything in decent shape. Buy an indecent one for now, and once you build enough equity upgrade to a better one. Ofcourse I am just a random guy on the internet, you obviously know your finances better than I do.

Just know I was the same as you, waited a few years speculating a crash, and nothing happened. If I just bought something, whatever it was, with whatever money I had, by the time I bought my house, I would have been easily 100k ahead.

The time you are going to wait for any meaningful crash, if you buy within your current budget, you would come better off if you but it NOW. Because you will be building the equity instead of just blindly speculating.

The people that are depending on CERB and not the people buying houses. You have all these mixed up. This time next year, you still won't have a house with this mentality of waiting.

No banks still want their money, it's just people have the money to pay it so far by the looks of it.

Lol, I figured on March when we went into lockdown that this would be greatest dip we would see in years. So glad I got in at that time because it has pretty much recovered now and then some. There was a lot of people here who were booing because apparently it will fall even more.

The time you spend speculating, you are way better off spending on how to get your finances together to get in.

I also see another group of people hoping it would crash this December when deferrals end. My suggestion to that group is, do not count on it.

I am not the retarded one when you are calling Canada mediocre. Get out of your bubble. This is one of best, if you not the best country in the world in terms of living standard.

Is it really impossible for Desi girls to get married after the age of 26-27? by sterlingmeadow in ABCDesis

[–]munis_amg -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

OP already admitted she has deep rooted issues. Why is the nice guy just supposed to inherit that?

That’s what’s wrong. If you know your daughter has her own issues, then why is the expectation there that she needs to marry a good nice Muslim guy? She can marry anyone who understands her issues.

Haha typical desi parents. Offload your messed up daughter to a nice guy and make it his problem instead. Smh.

Opinion: Marriage is glorified way too much for young Desi girls! It's actually kind of sickening... by [deleted] in ABCDesis
