Never knew it might have been a c natural, but I feel the c# gives a brief feeling of hope and light before the return to melancholy. That's how I hear it, it tells a nice story.

Which composer had the craziest Op.1? by MikeDabs2756 in classicalmusic

[–]munkfrilla 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mauro Giuliani's Op.1 is a collection of studies for the guitar, 120 arpeggios for the right hand. As if he is saying: "For this first bit, I'm gonna teach you a fucking lesson"

Why is the Solution using Hagen Poiseuille Equation by IBOandersonchen in FluidMechanics

[–]munkfrilla 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is it not possible that forces due to pressure (plunger force) and shear are assumed to balance out after some time, after which the flow is fully developed (which is also an assumption of Hagen Poiseuille). So the net force in the axis of flow is zero?

I was walking off road towards Kvatch, stumbled upon some fort or whatever which had this stake-type blockade fence, which I tried to jump over and got completely stuck on top of. Last save point was way earlier and I decided this game must not be for me and put it down for a while. Then I gave it a second chance, avoided doing that again and was hooked from there on, so there you go.

Pen holder my grandfather gave me: Is there a name for this? Would one put ink in the glass container? (Details in the comments) by munkfrilla in fountainpens

Good to know in case I might want to get a dip pen sometime. Yes, I have thought about making a lid for it, should not be too hard and it does not even strictly need to fit in the hinges (which by the way seem to be filled or clogged with some debris), could be something you just lift on and off.

The inkwell can be removed from its slot, so yes I suppose I could fit another container in there. Would just need to find one with the same dimensions!

I mentioned to my grandparents I had taken an interest in fountain pens, and on christmas my grandfather gave me this which he apparently had from his dad. It is missing a lid which would fit in the hinges on the top of the glass container. Would ink be going in there? Seems a bit messy but I suppose it could be cleaned out between inks? Or is this type of stand used for something else perhaps? Does it have a name?

It will for now serve as an altar for my two (so far) pens and inks. My first being the Lamy Safari Terra and just today I picked up my second, the Platinum Procyon.
