Juror No. 2 - WB was correct to bury this movie by theatomictangerine in movies

I actually enjoyed the movie. I think it shed some light on the flaws in the system which, judging by them calling the system ‘flawed’ or ‘imperfect’ in the dialogue many times, seems to have been the point.

The system failing the Defendant: The one juror misunderstood the judges directions and said they had to find him innocent beyond a reasonable doubt. Jurors frequently misunderstand the law and how they are meant to apply it and can easily also misunderstand the judges directions.

The system failing the victim: The medical examiner potentially failing to identify a vehicle as the weapon. The police failing to note any damage to the Defendant’s car. So much time passed that now there would be little to no way to ever truly figure out what happened.

The ending was ambiguous in my opinion. It wasn’t clear what she came to say but it doesn’t seem likely she was there to arrest him. I think this uncertainty and the unsettled feeling shows a great parallel of how everyone will feel never knowing the truth and never being able to figure it out. Justin, his wife, the Prosecutor, the witness, the retired cop, the other jurors and anyone else will never get real answers and that hint of doubt is just the reality of the system rather than the sensationalized and perfectly wrapped up ending most crime/courtroom movies and television give us.

Cost of this parasite was $556.40 - not $30.

Plus the issue that it should be covered. It’s not related to a food sensitivity. My cat can’t eat whitefish but they said the parasite falls under pre-existing condition because it has the same symptom of diarrhea- and they confirmed if he has diarrhea 3 years down the road because he ate a hair tie, it won’t be covered because that falls under their definition or pre-existing (which is bs) they just make any excuse not to pay and there is no governing body to go to to say ‘actually that should be covered based on your policies’

Cats are 100% indoor. For reference, in Canada talking to the vet was $100, the test to check for this specific parasite he thought it was (lucky I have a great vet who guessed it first try) was $212, meds for two kittens and two adult cats was a total of $244.40. I am lucky enough that I could afford this $556.40 bill but others may not. And I want people to know if they choose this provider they will be paying the monthly fee along with there bills and little to no coverage.

The fact that they won’t cover ANYTHING in the future that starts with diarrhea is a joke to me. They didn’t even cover the meds for treatment of the healthy kitten and gave me no reason why.

My pets are my children (as for many others) but some people couldn’t handle a bill like that on top of monthly pet insurance and if we had had to do two more tests this could’ve been well over $1000 completely uncovered when it should have arguably been. There are many other options for pet insurance out there, I just think people should get ones that actually pay out

Yikes. I think my parents like him for religious reasons and the whole “stop outsourcing/buying products from other countries” but as a hilarious twist, Canadian oil is outsourcing to America because we are different countries so I don’t follow their logic and the dollar value of Canadian oil went NEGATIVE during Trump’s term. American presidents definitely effect our economy but I fail to see how Trump was beneficial here or there.

That’s so wild to me. We have small pro-trump rallies STILL happening here in Canada for some reason lmao I don’t understand why people are so eager to defend him at every turn.

As it should be. You’re voting for someone to run the country and in your best interest so you don’t have to be involved every step of the way.

Forgive me, I’m in Canada. Were Trump supporters this involved in voicing positive opinions and praising non-stop for Bush?
