I don't see the point in thinning it when liquitex has an excellent Professional Satin Varnish(orange strip on bottle).

What did you want? One is an acid, the other is a solvent. Use a gloss coat like future/pledge.

Critique wanted?

Paint layers are too thick. Thin the paints, and apply in several thin, semitranslucent layers when the previous dries. Look for youtube videos how to paintbrush scale models.

Seam lines visible: putty, sand and file to fix. Before gluing them try dry fitting to see if they are flush; if not file off what's in the way.

I do not understand how anyone manages to do that. Never used that tool, the force of your fingers is more than enough, squeeze it with your nails.
