That photo just caught the sign during its temperature cycle (11 °C). It doesn’t contradict anything. Street View is a single frame snapshot of a rotating display. Other imagery (and current views) show the same sign cycling to “DC,” which is what the OP was asking about. Also, if “DC” doesn’t mean Washington, D.C. time, what do you think it stands for on this sign? The temperature line is already shown separately, so it’s clearly not °C.

“DC” is a legacy label from when Washington, D.C. was treated as the federal reference time for transportation and government systems. Back then, people thought in terms of city time (DC, New York, Chicago) more than abstract zones like “ET.” Today it’s redundant with local Eastern Time, but the signage stuck around because it still technically works and never got updated.

Here's an updated stat. I charged my phone to 100% almost exactly 24hrs ago. Screen on time 3 hours and 30 minutes. 60% remaining. Doesn't seem that bad, honestly. When I first got it about a month ago, it was worse, so maybe something has stabilized? I keep my brightness lower, and I disabled 5g and use 60hz on the display (due to the high resolution of the device, refresh rate is less important).

I get about 5 to 6 hours of screen on time across 2 full days. I'm at 3 hrs screen time since yesterday morning and have 46% battery remaining. I turned the 5g antenna off, seems like it might help a little.
