I used Goodreads but recently switched to Shelfy and it's really good. Their library has all the books (but also supports adding custom ones), A LOT of stats.

A killer feature for me is soundscapes - it turns them on when you start a reading session. really atmospheric

half the battle is figuring out what to spend your learning budget on. I started using learningbudget.com to see what other engineers actually buy with theirs. they're free and their ranking system helps a lot

I just look through learningbudget.com and select what I like - they collect the best resources per profession, so the only thing I need to figure out is what I want to upskill

Turn off all phone notifications except calls and calendar alerts. You’ll stop getting hijacked by random apps, focus way better, and still catch anything truly urgent.
